Madwe carnt get a club race sorted because of this,,will this ever be sorted??
"alledgedly" there is a patch coming.....
rik there is a patch scheduled within the next 2 weeks, this is a target date and not set in stone but imo I've always had the feeling the update would come with the next DLC pack.
Wait and see but Atari/Eden are on it, know about it and ARE doing something about it.
Paven don't like the game, the service, or your life, exchange the game, sell the game, your constant whining is pathetic.
PS It's allegedly.

Thanks for the correction, my typing is not what it should be, as my eyesight fades with age. Thank you for you also for the life skills advice.
I was not whinging in my post merely happily passing on the information that a patch would be forthcoming. Surely that didnt warrant the tone of your reply.
May I also take this opportunity to state that I am not will never be a Software Company's fanboy, just a concerned consumer. rolleyesa

it good to here someone say there is a patch coming,,,,is there going to be one for the trading thing as well do yas know???,
The newest update should fix all of the known major problems so that includes, the loss of progression glitch, the trade, the diners not being limited to 250 challenges, not being able to use a non-determined car or a bike in a car only challenge, finding and keeping friends as well as some other tweaks that are probably needed.
And hopefully no more super-sonic speeds in the online challenges and scoreboards but I have a feeling that'll be later.

Its been out over a month now, but no issues have been solved, we still cant trade we can still only connect to at 9 people in free roam (if we are lookie).
Is there actually a patch coming or are they just making it up?

Oh brother. rolleyesa
Several issues have been solved, trade was taken down to stop a massive bug in which you could lose your entire save happening, it has always been known that we would have a total of 8 people including ourselves while freeroaming. And wth is lookie ? Also 7 + 1 does not equal 9.
A patch is coming, targeted for the 15th of this month (the same time around the new DLC carpack will be released I guess), bare in mind it's targeted not set, so don't get all happy and anything cause these things can change, but for Atari and Eden's sake I sincerely hope there is no delay with it.
Now please stop and just wait until this time, then you and your mates can continue moaning.

How long are you happy to wait to play the game as Atari promised? At what point do the fanboys change their opinion of Atari?
At what point do the fanboys change their opinion of Atari?
Fanboys will wait forever and a day, myself and others are willing to give them some time to sort out the major bugs, get the game working as it should and then start on the minor things like the super-sonic speeds in diner and single player challenges.
As with everything you have to prioritise, so getting Trade working must be done, getting the locating and staying with friends must be done, fixing diner abnormalities like 250 limit and wrong car/bike in restricted challenges must be done BUT the high-speeds don't detract from the diner as a whole as the people setting these challenges are the people who cheat them, everyone else set's the checkpoints so that grass cutting, glitching can't be done, set's a low driving meter so that off-road can't be done.
So yes I get your point and yes I am not willing to wait forever but I am far from a fanboy either, I can appreciate the excellence of this game, I mean just look at what you have in this, unlimited roads to tear around as fast or as slow as you like, the ability to have a group of friends or strangers cruise around and stage races and general larkiness. The little details like the traffic, they are smart compared to some games, I mean park in the middle of the road and they will overtake you, park across both lanes and they will go on to the wrong side of the road and overtake you. And it's not always the same, you have the thinkers who take forever to decide what to do, you have the hmm's who think about it, consider it and then do it and then you have the do'ers who just say f it, here I come ready or not. In fact they are so smart they will stop and wait until a car on the wrong side has gone passed before they overtake and pass you on the wrong side, they'll even switch to the far wrong lane if an oncoming car is heading towards them. The AI traffic programmers definitely deserve a huge slap on the back because they are some of the best traffic ever in a game.
Also you criticise the only 8 players thing, well one of the best times I've had on TDU was yesterday when I came across 2 bikers on my MV Augusta and myself and this other MV just gunned it round the entire coastal roads of the map for about 100 miles, so much fun being about 50 yards from each other and ripping through traffic at over 210mph, was amazing fun and I'm now mates with this guy and I seriously wished I recorded it as it was truly one of the best times I've had on TDU.
Alright enough typing, fixes are coming, maybe not for everything but as long as they don't take as long as PGR3 (5-6 months) then I and many others will be happy.

Surprisingly enough, I'm gonna side with Diablo_ here.
I am not a fanboy either, but this game is by far the best racing game I have ever tried. So much so in fact, that I bought the 360 for it.
When making a game, you have a limited amount of developers. They in turn test the game. Find faults. Fix them. Rinse. Repeat.
Then you open the game up to an unlimited amount of players. They are sure to find faults, that the devs hasn't come across.
So what is the right way to go about it? Scream bloody murder? Point fingers and laugh? Demand your money back?
I've played several MMORPGs and while some of them are very good, most have flaws and errors. Hell even World of Warcraft, which prolly has the biggest base of fans in the world, has errors, which were there from the beginning.
If we'd bought the game with broken bits and no prospect of them fixing it, then I would lead the angry mob myself. Other than that, the games been living for a month. Let's see some optimism :)
I'm pretty sure, that if paven means to do nothing but whine and complain he would've moved on by now. After all, it's a pretty sad existance to sit around and flood boards with complaints.
On a sidenote. Did you know that Paven in danish means The Pope?

As I've stated before I've been more than happy with the single player, in fact TDU has hardly left my 360 since release (and I still don't think I'll ever cover all the roads rolleyesa ), but with any multiplayer game the longer it takes to patch the more players become disillusioned and trade/sell the product. Hence when a patch is finally released you can find not so many players left.
I think this is fair debate, not whining or complaining, nor have I been flooding boards as you can see from my post count.
Pontificatiion over! Bless you, Baxie angel:

We let you post it once. Now you've complained numerous times.

As long as it takes. Doesn't make it any less enjoyable. mdr1
