there was a bug that meant that if you had a car for sale, then sold the house the car was in, your savegame would be lost.
thats why it has been taken down. it will be fixed when it is fixed, no certain date yet
no offence but thats all i ever here.. i dont say much.. the game was released with a few bug which game isnt but after over a month of this sh!t i have to be honest... this game is a joke... trade doesnt work... u cant find ur friends properly... idea was good but it dont work in my eyes.. im 51% in to the game and i have no intention of completing any more... the special cars u get are ****.. inter club doesnt work properly.... neither do the diners... the graphics are ok.. BUT there is way to much pop up.... the enzo goes that fast the pop up cant keep up and u fall off the map... when / if u get in to the airport the tarmac runway is off road... half the rocks float on the side of the mountains....
its a very poorly constructed game and its getting to the point i wish i hadnt bought it
sorry guys i just cant put up with the dribble that this game has become

Fair enough, trade it to someone who will appreciate it more.
you will get good money for it while its new
i just wanted atari to know that i love this game and i cant sleep at night coz i keep thinking of when im gonna wake up to play this wonderful game again lol
Trade it in for Dead Rising.... oh wait...then he'd be on the Capcom boards complaining that he can't read the text on his SDTV, that the zombies won't stand still while he shoots at them, that the people are unnecessarily ugly, that the box doesn't go with his wallpaper...yada yada.....
Fair enough, trade it to someone who will appreciate it more.
He's not saying he didn't appreciate it, just that the game needs an urgent fix, and again I say why should you pocket a loss on a product that needs a fix, software or not. Bug fixing should be an indusrty problem not a consumer problem
As a single player game it's still the most fun I've had on my 360 since MotoGP '06 (and that needed a fix too).
Why must all the Atari fanboys slam anyone on here who raises their head and posts anything slightly negative? We all must agree by now that a patch is overdue. The longer the patch takes the less core gamers you have left when its patched. :nono: It doesn't take much for a game to slip from charts to bargain bin...
From a website which I will not name, "I hope you enjoy this selection of images, which will be updated on a regular basis." Last updated 10/08/2005.
See how easy it is to make promises?
And before you post flaming me I'm not whining, I'm defending free speech!
mate dont worry about... i have to deal with geeks like that on a regualr bases... typical slam some one for venting there opinion... such a shame to have a wasted childhood...
ill just playing old forza till they update this game
also played import tuners last night this game look good has potential to be good.. the game play sucks dont waste ur timewith it and nfs carbon is good for eye candy and moddin ur car but the car handling is all wrong :(

I agree that the game needs a fix, but there is plenty to do in the game until that comes about.
It seems that people have no patience or an appreciation of how long these things take to sort out.
I've no allegiance to Atari but there are too many people on here whining about the problems that Atari and Eden already know about and are currently working hard trying to fix.

I can understand the frustrations with people getting impatient after all everyone is entitled to an opinion, as with any software or game there will always be flaws which need fixing. But the fact that TDU has been on the market now for a while I think that people are now getting impatient due to the lack of information about fixes and dates of when the patch will become available.
Lets be fair if you purchased a new car, or even an XBOX360 Console or something of that nature you wouldn't accept an inferior product, why should we accept an unfinished product!
Personally I would have rather that Atari Eden held off releasing the game and that they made sure it was a fully working product prior to release. I have had issues with the game especially with multiplayer.
Hopefully something will come sooner rather than later as people wont wait forever, its easy to say there is plenty in the game to do but when you are at 85% on the game then you start to need certain things like trading to get the acheivements complete.
Fingers crossed that Atari Eden will come up trumps with the fix soon, mind you maybe a sweetner of some downloadable cars for free might help ease the impatience

Multiplayer would have been the most difficult area to test fully before release, so some problems would be expected. More info on a patch release date would placate people to some extent, but imagine the outcry if that date was missed due to an unforseen problem that needed fixing.
Hopefully Forza 2 having a delayed release until next year will help it avoid some of the problems that TDU has faced.
I agree that some free cars would be a suitable compensation for the waiting, but that may be up to microsoft more than atari.

indeed, I totally agree to test multiplayer is difficult.
I'd rather have a fix, that works, than a fix that doesn't. If that means, that I can't see people in clubs and something else for an additional week, then so be it.
