lol. well i tould u guys i was going to get the 360 well i did. and i just had enough money to get the core systelm and the game. but now lol i need the harddrive!!!!
anyone have any tricks on how i can attach a normal pc harddrive or some kinda memory unit??? cause the 360 harddrive is 100 euros and i dont have the cash. spent all my money that was on the credit card and my mom will only spare me the cash on the coming weekend or so.
AND LOL!!!! i played it all day today with out a memorycard or anything. had the lambo murc and the kongiston. and then my mom turned the oven on and power went out:( anyway i can wait to join u guys. i will for sure this weekend or week after since my class is going on a really gay fieldtrip that i dont want to waist money on so i say home!!!

There's no point of buying a Core if you want to play TDU. You NEED an HDD. You made a silly decision.

This method still will not allow you to save games to that hard drive. The Xbox will only SAVE to "Xbox 360 Storage Devices." That means 360 HDD and 360 Memory Card. No other choices available.

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION. before i go out and by the memory card or the hd.
there is a hug price diffrence between them. can you play online with only the memory card or do u need the hd to save updates and patches?
and yes i see how stupied that was to get the core system now. but i guess its to late to ask the store keeper to trade it in for the full version one. that means i have to spend more money on getting the hd and the headset. how gay. wanted to spend less money and at the end i have to spend more money

you might aswell just save for the hdd otherwise youll just have a memory card knocking around getting dusty when you do get one
Go for the hard drive if you can, you'll soon fill a memory card, and you won't be able to download any of the demos to a memory card (always handy to sace cash on dodgy game puchases).
but if i understand right u can connect to xbox live with a memory card right?
well ill see. i have to sell stuff anyway to pay my mom back. it be easyer for me to get the memory card for now. id only play tdu anyway

you will need the Harddrive as xbox live has already had a dashboard update and this will be saved to you harddrive once you connect plus testdrive has had an update and another is on the way so you mayfind that the memory card simply wont be big enough as the testdrive download cars are 20bm alone aswell

btw guys..if u connect online,n u talk on that earphone thing..will u have to pay when u talk? becos i tot its like calling someone overseas n u need to pay alot..isit the same?
n btw..when playing online,do u need to pay for anything except the electrical bill? i press press press then saw 1 thing which need the credit card last 4 numbers..but in the end,i didnt put it,but i manage to connect online :chapeau:

And to awnswer your questions, You don't need to pay for talking to other people online, However you need to pay around 10$ per month to use xbox live. And you can't connect to online unless you have xbox live. The only reason your haven't started paying for xbox live is the fact that you get one month free when you sign up. Soon you'll have to pay for it.

So you paid:
Equivalent of:
£199 + £70 = £269.
£279- £269 = £10.
With that £10, you could have got a headset, wireless controller, HD cable, and chrome disk tray included.

Cool, TDU time then! I think it sucks that Microsoft brought out the Core system to be honest. The HD is like the centre of the 360s online ability and to give out a system without the HD as standard is pretty sucky.
You can live without the headset and some of the other bits and bobs but the HD.... seriously silly. rolleyesa
The core has its place for those who dont play online or dont have broadband. However the premium is really the one to go for, it's the complete package and everything you need to get in to next gen hd online gaming...
Can probably pick up headsets etc on ebay for cheap, mine will be going on soon as I dont need it (I got one with the 360 & another with the camera, no need for 2 of them).

ya i really messed it up i know. but ill learn for the next time.
ill need to get a head set off of ebay to:( that really the last thing i need.
but if u see it in a diffrent way. when i bought it my credit card only had 400 euros on it. if id gotten the full one i would of had to miss out on the game:(
but i still think i should of gotten the full one. could try to sell the whole thing on ebay again lol but i cant be arssed
