Is anyone actually moderating this site or have you all got fed up and gone home?
I posted a problem both here and on the crashday forum over a week ago and as yet have no response.
This is very poor indeed and disapointing to say the least! sour:
Can someone atleast take the time to compose a FEW words in response to my query to show that Atari HAS'NT just taken my money and ran!!!!!
Sorry about that......... :noooo:
We're normally pretty good at replying, even if we dont know the answer. Your post must have slipped through the net..... :noooo:
It wont happen again..... :respect:

:bravo:
Thanks for the reply FLUXX, nice to know that someone is still alive!
So any idea as to my problem? The LAN party is on Saturday (day after tomorrow).
Do you have to have internet connection to play LAN games or is it just me? Is anyone else having the same problem?
A quick answer would be most welcome.
I can seem to find anyone else thats having this problem, at least not in English..... rolleyesa
I found this in the demo version read me.....
"Other players cannot join my games."
- If you are connected to the Internet through a router from inside a local network, please verify that the router properly forwards incoming messages to your computer. For some routers it is required to configure "port forwarding" to redirect the ports used by the game to your local computer's IP address. Please consult your router manual how to set up port forwarding. If incoming requests are blocked or not forwarded properly, other players might not be able to join your games.
To find out which port numbers are used by Crashday, start the game, go to "Multiplayer", then go to "Network Settings". Default port is "9000".
Im not saying this will help, but tbh Im clutching at straws here... :noooo: :respect:

Nah, tried that, besides I have 2 computers linked via onboard LAN not router. No other game causes this problem and I don't have a problem if the host computer is online, weird!
Tomorrow is the LAN party and I'm hoping that using a network hub will smooth things out, although I'm not holding my breath.
Don't suppose there is a chance of a patch before tomorrow morning??? :hin:
Thanks anyway FLUXX.
