Why isn't trade working?
That's the only thing stopping me from getting to ace level.
Is Atari trying to fix the problem?
I've had the game for over a month and it has never worked!

eTrading was causing problems with saving progress and had to be temporarely disactivated. The issue has been fixed in the new update, which will be available in a few weeks.

Christmas 2007 trade should be working. Might aswell wait and get the game when it's released as platinum...

Sorry but when people make empty promises it upset people. Empty promises have been made constantly by Atari. This is Atari's forum, the perfect place to air my opinions to them.
When we get this info promised I wont moan about it but we were told a few days, its been almost a week!! Thats more than a few days! Infact the US got the announcement before us and we still never got the official word on here about it!

I wonder if they ride horses to work, wear leather chaps and are afraid of a man called Billy... "the kid". Yee ha Atari, never have I seen a bigger cockup. I know a certain other game developer I have had the pleasure of working for wouldn't dream of releasing a game so far from completion then buying time by posting BS about updates in a few days when really its weeks.

Still doesnt change anything does it? If I take my game back I get £50 but Atari are still leading everyone on with their cowboy style release of game, content and updates.

Either quit trying to insult me, bring the insults to me personally or post something with substance.
There are more than just me who are very angry with Atari over the **** this game brings with it, the empty promises and the game being released before it is ready!

How would that fix the game or stop Atari making empty promises and releasing games which have more bugs in than a cheap hotel?

I do enjoy life thank's all the same.
You have no reason to post, they are only posts to provoke an internet fight (whatever makes you feel bigger), they will now be reported and ignored. Unless you have something worth saying don't bother saying it.
I have explained my reasons for posting. I have valid reasons. I will continue posting and airing my views to Atari until the time comes they call me out for a showdown at high noon.

RichMR2 I can see where you are coming from and yes it is a bit annoying that over a week ago they said keep an eye ot for an announcment in the next couple of days. That doesn't mean they aren't still working on it!
If you remember from reading around the forums, some people who have registered for updates recieved an e-mail about the new car pack, details of cars and also saying it will be out soon Link (http://forums.eu.atari.com/showthread.php?t=43972)
As for the patch, I am also annoyed we can't use trade, but life isn't fair and nothing is ever perfect (sorry if you think that). They have said they are working on it and it will be out soon. If you have worked in a games company as claimed, you of all people will know that soon can sometimes be a while, fix a bug and ten more appear, it can't be easy to develope a decent patch for the game.
As the first online racing game of this scale it was certain to have issues. They had a patch out in a day to fix the major issues straight away, or maybe you have forgotten this?
Let them work and stop whinging, it will be out when it is out, until then enjoy the game it is still a great game, with plenty of stuff to do than trade.

I left the video game industry because I love them AS A HOBBY (plus they are based a few hundred miles from where my family are).

So you read two paragraphs then dismiss the comments? Or have you read the comments and can't think of a response to them and you've realised you've lost?
Come on man, give atari and the forum members a break. When something is announced (officially, not some school boy rumour on the xbox forums) it will be mentioned. As no dates have been set I still fail to see how you can complain they are 'late' with there promises.
