TDU: Pursuit:
Hey all, with that competition some of us took part in today and seeing how fun it can be ramming someone off the road and working as a team I thought I might throw this idea out to people. Basically it’s cops versus speeder(s). The cars must be the same class or one below (if you like a challenge) and the aim of the speeder(s) is to avoid being caught for a predetermined time, could be anything from 3mins to 30mins if you want! They must avoid being stopped, hit off the road several times or crashing into a solid object hard, like a tree, barrier edge or even a telephone poll. The cops obviously have to stop the speeder(s) by any means necessary and of course would do best working as a team by setting roadblocks, boxing in and the like or of course a head on smash is always good. lol
Cops are always black and can be any car, speeders there are no limits on car choice apart from you cannot be a Class A.
Names please of the people who would like to join or are interested. Let’s see if we can make this fun and come up with some other modes of play, maybe even a last man standing but with all speeders and 1 cop (in a higher class car of course) and if you’re caught you then become a cop and last speeder remaining wins !!

The pin snapped and got stuck so it worked slightly but I was making a noise. Then I got the broken pin out and it doesn't work at all...... :noooo:

Is it possible to paint a car white , 'cos i tried with my skyline to make it look like an import but it looks silvery?
I would just bookmark out of the way or pause it as I was about to get rammed, no one would catch me that way.

Considering you can see the pause icon appear and the name go grey I think we would know who has done that, and yeah it would be preferable you have a working mic or at least reply by horn as hopefully you can still hear us.

dunno... i dont even have the game yet (tomorrow yay! mdr1 ), but from what ive seen white doesnt look too good in the game anyways... since the black lines that represent the area between bodyparts look very painted on the white cars...

What time u.s. would that be? If it is around 6ish I should be able to do it but if its around 5ish then I cant already have a meet set up. And uh where would we met to do this and should we be a cop(black) or a speeder(other colors)?And uh to the white car question its only possible if you have it as a stock color, not in the custom paint shop. You will always get a silverfish tint in the custom shop, at least on my cars it does.
Not sure many different timezones in the US but I can tell you your post was done 1:30PM GMT so whatever time you are add the hours to 1:30PM and you'll have your answer. Meeting place isn't set yet, I'm looking for quiet places where we can meet up with not much worry of not finding each other.

Alrighty then, we seem to have everyone we need for now, remember speeders in whatever you like D class, cops in a black D to keep it even but I may change the cops to a class 1 up from the speeders to make it interesting later on.

Meeting place is outside the Weissman dealer (German Independents) in 15mins. D class cars, they can be tuned as long as they remain D class. We currently have 2 speeders and 6 cops, I'll be there from 10:00 onwards, we leave 15mins afterwards unless everyone arrives quickly then we can set off quicker.
Let's make this fun !
You can drive an E if you want to. Just no higher than D.

Well just got back from what can simply be described as utter madness! 4 cops and 2 robbers at the beggining to 1 robber 3 cops! All good stuff, mind you the end got a little confusing :nono: Anyway going to buy a Microphone tomorrow morning along with...Fifa 2007 so i won't be on TDU now for about a week..

Sounds awesome. If you guys are doing this again this weekend, and I'm free, let me know.
Well that was awkward to begin with, we had a good group of people and then when we were ready to go and isolate, well it went wrong because people thought Isolate was a bad thing, but after 45mins we got 4 people together and went ahead with the first pursuit which was fun, some good driving by the cops meant the speeder was warned within about 4mins, and then cautioned and then finally arrested.
After the first pursuit more people joined including a mate of mine MaxxTraxx who did some superb driving in his RS4 along with FA430RGT to bring spaceman's Aston Martin to a crunching and even a wet halt.
Then it was just all out fun going after someone else until everyone had a turn and it was good, we found some new things we had to implement such as cops can be 1 or 2 classes higher, speeder must try and keep cops between 300-500 yards (depends on class) behind them to make sure we're not driving along roads for hours trying to catch up and also once caught, stop and wait for the others to catch up before going again.

Ha I got my ars kicked. It was a sad sight to be honest. I don think I lasted 5 min without getting arrested. But it was fun, besides the confusion there at the beginning. BTW Cops can be anything just like speeders, but speeders cannot be Class A.
