hey i have just got my xbox 3 days ago and only have the silver acount

now i know i cant play online with people but i keep seeing players on the map and cant see them in the game why is this and is it worth getting gold (YEAH)

and also a noobs question how do i unlock the race track thanks

yes it is worth getting gold, even if it is just for this game.
live is a big part of TDU.
to unlock the race track you need to be champion level or above

Like you said with Sliver Sub you can't phyiscally play online, against other people, and to unlock the track you need to reach 500 Gamerpoints and with TDU it's worth getting Gold sub..

Definitely worth getting gold. Open up the game so much and you can race / cruise / with other onliners... You unlock the race track by gettin to the Champion level (but you can jump over the hedge to the right of the entrance if you hit it at the right angle :) )

It works out cheaper if you pay £35 a year for 12 months (on Amazon.co.uk)
but i cant afford it all in one go because i only get a fiver a week!

well buying my xbox was £311 but i only had £250 but worked around my parents maybe i can do the same for this :mefiant:

Is it a new xbox ? if so you should have got 30 days free on gold, im still on me free acount but will be getting 12 months as soon as it runs out.

well actually if you work it out, £5 a month, 4 weeks in a month (nearly) works out to near £1.25 :atari:

No just silver, but TDU is way better online because you can meet up with people and cruise etc.

I thought it was just with premium pack 360s. If you get the core package, I don't think you get the free month.

I might be wrong, of course.....

Just apply for the silver one on xbox live... it should then let you know you have 1 month free for gold (that what i did anyways...)

i was under the impression that only free stuff was available with the silver bollocks...

totally agree with the first thing you said.

With silver you can download stuff, but not go online to play.

I think we don't know if any of these packs will cost anything (or maybe I missed it). Rumor had it that some would be free while others not...I hope they will be free :rolleyes:
