ok here's my problem. My friend doesn't have an online profile, so I had him bring over his hard drive, I plug it in into my 360 and used my xbox live account to download the cars on his profile and it worked great on my 360 and still does with his hard drive, the problem is when he got back to his house and loaded it up, it gave him a message that said something like "your profile contain downloaded content, do you wish to go online now"? and then we tried going on and it wouldn't work and then without and it wouldn't load his cars. So he had to start a new profile all over again. Is there anything I can do to download cars for him on his non-online profile? Can i set him up with one of those 48 hour online trials and will it work after he can't get online anymore? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
scott
It makes sense, that online content is only available to those that pay the online fees.
But that would mean that you couldn't download it in the first place.
Sorry, but I can't be of much help here.

Hi Scott, yup, the free online trials are the way to go, you can't transfer cars from one profile to another - that's a feature to prevent cheating.
Now your problem is that you've already used the code though, as codes can only be used once. You might want to enter our competitions and win a new code for him ;)

well I really don't want to put it on another profile at all, just add it to his without locking his up like I did before and him not being able to use it. What codes are u talking about? I never used any and never did the 48 hour trial thing, just used my account to try it

just get him to bring his whole 360 around, hook it up to your connection and it should work
