I read that collision will be on. now from being in online races, i've noticed some people like ramming you at the start so they can get way ahead, or if your over taking them, they don't like it and ram you off the road. Will the races be watched for this and anything done about it?

To answer your question yes it will be on. It will make it more interesting. If someone does try to ram you off road just return the favour. If they keep trying it they'll soon find themselves out of the race as the driving gauge will be on...

Thing is when u do get rammed off they get that far ahead you can't catch them gauge on or not.. but i'll enter :)

I would but not if collisions are on, too many people get the cheap shots in at the start leaving you behind and unable to catch up unless it is a really long race. Plus if driving gauge is on then when you get rammed off the track in to a tree you too could be out which would be completly not your fault.

Plus you always run the risk of having the glitched start where 2 cars are on top of each other and usually it's me who ends up being thrown 100 foot in the air and off in to the grass.

There will be 4 hosts which will host a series of private multiplayer games. The top 4 will progress and so on until a winner is crowned.

good races guys, i think ill invest my points in downloading new cars or a name change ;), props to roadie and makasa, both very good drivers and we had some good races. thanks to resome for setting it all up.

i recorded the races with my capture card, so ill see what the quality is like and maybe make a lil video

Mopar or No car? Mopar (outside the US) is No car!

Exotics are for the road, for the mountain roads around europe and also for the track. Face it the US is the only country who like their cars to go fast in a straight or round a slightly banked circuit, case in point the Bugatti Veyron, 250+ mph and still handles well, the Viper TT1000 same top speed, and it runs back to the drag strip when taken to a track.

Give me something from Modena, Sant Agatha, Maranello, Stuttgart or even old Blighty any day over anything from Detroit and likewise. Apart from a GT500 (old), that would be fun to just drive around.

whatever, mopar4life has gotten up to rank 90 in instant challenge with only a viper, and i've gotten up to rank 200 in challenges with only a viper, (and we don't race every day) and that's not the coupe (which handles and goes 0-60 faster than the convertable) or the 2008 (which is going to have over 600hp)

that's whay on www.dodge.com they don't have a 2007 viper, becuase they are not making them in 07, then releasing something like that in 08

Regarding ranks, I have seen many people care less about them and like myself will race newbies, let them win so that they can have a good amount of money to play with, like lose 100k in 10mins by not even racing type thing. Rank doesn't mean much to many people.

we barley used the "yank tank", only one or two of the short straight races we resorted to using it, the rest of the time we used a mix of enzos, SLRs, murchelagos, lol caterhams, bikes, etc.

one of the clips shows me getting completely screwed by you and crazeddodgem at the start of the race and me having to work my way through the field to get back into first, its a good battle with roadie's SLR, and when i went past him i think he said something like i had taken him out but as you can see on my screen its a clean-ish move (i muscled past him and gave him room for the next two corners before shutting the door) mdr1

yea i know what u mean, when i cruise with my friend. we see 2 different things. We tried going at a steady speed.. 100mph. and i delibeitly ram him.. and try pit him. ..to him i'm not touching him. on my screen i'm really ramming him and i can't pit him, he's like concrete. There are times when passing he pits me and pushs me along the road.... i say to him.. he's doing it.... but to him.. he's on the toher side of the road and not touching me.

can only hope its improve in the patch. but its not going to fix everything

In speed races, the aim is to reach the highest speed. When the "Press A to finish" came up, I pressed it as an instant reaction (too used to doing 180mph in heavy traffic). Therefore I came last..... :noooo:
