how about we all try to keep this forum completely spam free for 24 hours. commencing at midnight tonite? just to prove that we can (and tenebra said it would make her very happy :)) no flaming. no spamming. no (exessive) off-topicness. just constructive and posotive replies.

who is with me? post in the topic if you agree with me and promise not to spam for 24 hours.

well, you can set no spam for 24 hours as a challenge. if before the end of the 24 hours you have spammed then you are a failure.

and maybe people will realise that not spamming isnt all that bad...

If the board was upgraded then the mods could take advantage of the infraction system which would make it easy to keep track of those who are on the edge of a suspension or a banning and will even automatically ban if a set amount of infractions is met.

None of these guys will manage not spamming, it's what they do, it's almost like a contest in fact. rolleyesa

its a challenge, if u let them carry on without contesting it, there will be no spam for 24 hours, which is better than spam

If they can stop spamming right up until New Years Day I will put them in a draw for an Xbox 360 with a game of their choice or 5 games. So if there's 10 usual spammers, and only 3 of them can withstand the pressure then there's a 1 in 3 chance of winning. If none of them can manage it then wahey I get to give it away on one of the sites I'm on.

Diablo, I'm a girl, like most girls not only I can multi-task without blinking, I have the memory of 15 elephants.

If I don't ban it's only out of kindness, but since that's now starting to work against the community I'll have to chance my act. As simple as that, heads will roll, friends will get upset, but it's for a greater good.

ten I understand that and I wasn't trying to insinuate anything otherwise, I was just saying that the newest vBulletin makes moderating members a lot easier now with it's new system. I know what it's like trying to moderate members who continuously push you; moderating a bunch of teeny drifters who moan about getting OWN3D even with their 1337 skills and how drifting is better than racing and the racers attacking the drifters etc.

Anyway yourself and the other mods do a sterling job and keep this community rolling along smoothly.
