Hey,
I just tried earning a few more buck after I downloaded and installed the updates that were released yesterday - so I did the normal cash cows.
I did: -
180mph in heavy traffic challenge & 180mph dowtown challenges
Both dont seem to be working properly (in offline mode).
When I reach 180mph, the meter on the right keeps showing about 20mph behind, then it'll catch up later. It's like it lagging? I just tried it again and all the way up to 180mph and beyond it seems to be lagging.
The 180mph in traffic was a sub 15sec race in the saleen before but now its 20+. The downtown one was a 20+ sec race thats now 30sec.
Whats going on? Anyone else experiencing these problems? How can I fix them!!

You serious?
Working before, not now... GREAT PATCH!!! :mefiant:
GO :atari: !!
gamingguy please just stop trying to be helpful eh?
The speed challenges now have a check to make sure you have been at a speed for 2secs or more so even though you may be doing 200mph the game is just checking you have been over the 180mph for more than 2 secs, it's to stop the crazy speeds that happened when you smashed into another car or traffic and recorded the speed instantly, a crash does not keep your speed high for 2 secs.
• Speed filter added to prevent players from achieving impossible speeds in Speed Trap and Speed challenges
To be more precise, in max speed trap challenge, you must keep a speed 2 secondes to be validate. So, instanate very high speed from collision with traffics are not taken anymore.
yea guys its not a glitch if you really dont wanna go to 200mph when you hit 180 you need to hold it there for 2 seconds.

But why is the calibration totally wrong?

What a waste of time that is then!
Why didn't they just cross-reference the speeds with the car to see what the car is ACTUALLY capable of and just filter them out like that. If you got an insane speed or if you left the road surface for a second, just comes up with an error or try again screen. Simple as!
One of the things I liked about that challenge before was hitting 180mph, and then pressing the RB key JUST before you smash head-on into traffic! Was great fun! mdr1
Now though... What a waste...
There's SO many ways they could have gotten around that problem but they chose the worst one IMHO.
Is there any way of un-installing the patch? madred:
I think if you were to poll it the majority would rather have a fair scoreboard and game than one that is full of cheats, if it means another 60secs to make your million then I don't mind. What does RB do before you hit traffic ?

Diablo - thats not what I said mate.
Im all FOR having a fair leaderboard/game!
BUT,
Why make people who DONT cheat pay the price for those who do? As I mentioned before, create a system where the game cross-references what the car being used is ACTUALLY capable of with the result the player got, and also a rule whereby if you leave the road surface the challenge is ended also - hey presto! Fair game STILL, but same style as before so everyones happy...
(RB is the button you use to end the challenge once you've hit 180mph).
Also like the gaming guy said - calibration is TOTALLY wrong... Why not calibrate it same as before but add a timer for 2secs once you hit 180mph if thats the way they want to do it?
180mph in heavy traffic, you can get to 200+ before it even registers 180mph!

To perform the function, access 'memory' in the system blade, and then highlight the hard drive. Now press: Y, X, X, LB, RB, X, X. The following message should appear: "Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?" Select YES
That will remove all of your patches for all games. Do at your own risk but should be fine. Enjoy :D
