Live connection

Hi, im having probs with my XB Live connection and can't get on the TDU server. I've posted before but nothing seems to work so i was planning on fitting a phone line upstairs and buying a compatible router, will this work?

If you order another line from BT and subscribe to another adsl service yes. You can't have two modems working on the same phone line.

Why subscribe to a second phone line? If your router is the problem, just replace it. If something else is the problem (e.g. the network between the router and your Xbox), a second phone line seems like overkill.

i had a few problems with bt but got there free upgrade offer to there wireless hub phone thing i now run a wired imac into it and a phone and a wireless ibook laptop and the 360 wireless it works anywhere in the house and the laptop works about 50metres away up the garden
all the xbox live works at full speed dont have any problems since i changed over :)

ps theyre all on at the same time doesnt seem to slow anything down much
