Lend-Lease was the name of the program under which the United States of America supplied Great Britain, the Soviet Union, China, France and other Allied nations with vast amounts of war material (matériel) between 1941 and 1945. The supplies were given away with no repayment, so the U.S. would avoid the mistake it made after World War I of demanding later repayment. It began in March 1941, nine months before Pearl Harbor. It ended soon after V-J Day, on 2 September 1945.

A total of $50.1 billion worth of supplies were shipped: $31.4 billion to Britain, $11.3 billion to the Soviet Union, $3.2 billion to France and $1.6 billion to China. Reverse Lend Lease comprised services (like rent on air bases) that went to the U.S. It totalled $7.8 billion, of which $6.8 billion came from the Britain and the Commonwealth. We saved your asses before we even joined by sending you supplies and money to save your economy(which might as well be destroyed) and the act help sustain your economy till the end of the war.

This also started in WWI where we were tricked by the UK and France into thinking that their economies were fine although they were close to being destroyed. The US helped sustain both of their eeconomies till the end of the year.

Yes the UK would've survived their economy bankrupt while being out numbered and a German bombing away from losing the war(sarcasm at its best). I'm not saying anything against the UK because I have alot of respect for the UK and their Armed Forces. But you find it right to turn around and talk **** about America like we've never done anything good for the world. Yes we did save your asses and if you don't like the idea of it then to damn bad. Just like how the French saved our asses in the Revolutionary War. I find it strange that the Americans killed more of their own and British troops in Iraq, than the enemy. That's what pisses me off when Americans talk about how godly their country is.
