View Full Version : Car Not Downloaded?

lads,

i've been playing on Live recently, and there's one car i've seen that i've noticed i can't buy/get.

the car is mainly Red, but it has a kinda yellow/orange roof and bonnet (kinda like a thick Viper stripe from front to back.

Everytime i race someone with this car, rather than telling me the make and model, it simply says 'car not downloaded' so i can't find out what car it is.

I've downloaded all the packs and free cars, can anyone shed any light on what car it is and where i can get it?

that is the default car, and its shown when you dont have the car that the other person is using downloaded to you system


or at least thats how its supposed to work...


lately ive seen this car alot even tho i have the car the other guy is driving...
so i guess it has to do with the servers being unstable or something (and today when i was driving in my mclaren f1gt my friend not only saw me in the default car despite the fact that he was driving an f1gt too, but he actually saw a police car standing next to me)

It's just the "car not downloaded" car...
If you download all the packs you should see it.
Ask whoever's driving that car which car it is, and whatever pack includes that car is the one you're missing...
Or just check the marketplace for which one u missed.

You can't buy it.
It only shows up if the car isn't downloaded or if the game glitches in some way and cannot load the car in question.
Some people have driven the car, but you can't buy it, just hope it shows up...
You could try scratching your disc and hope the game can't load your car... :salut2:

thats the thing though, i've already downloade every car you can get including the packs. so i don't understand why it's telling me it's not downloaded rolleyesa

sure did and i bought it

i've basically bought every car apart from the mega expensive one's (the old ferrari 288 or whatever it is, plus a couple of one's that are above 2million (i have bought all the mclaren's and that which are the dearest as far as i can see.

trust me, i've downloaded everything i can for the game, car wise. it's maybe just a glitch.

i was driving with neil12345 earlier and he swore he saw an AUDI R8 :nuts: :nuts:

i didnt see it and neither did Diablo_ who was with us (but we were about 1200 yds ahead)

How about the free Corvette? The text in the first dlc pack which I don't have leads me to believe it's a different model from the free one.

yes. im seeing alot of them to. i guess this pack did not work out aswell as the frist one.

Yeah, I saw one 2 now. Haven't seen those since way back when I hadn't dl'ed the Launch pack.
He said he was in a F1 GT but I saw the TDU car. Then I went to the map and back and he was in an F1 GT...

Nope, they are the same car. I downloaded the free one before I got the pack and there was no other car. The market place text can never be trusted. It calls the island TDU is set on "Aohu" when is is definately Oahu.

must be part of the development crew testing it, :nuts: or some hacker
