I Think it highly unlikely that it will be a rival because GT is a Heavy Sim racer move of a rival of Forza then TDU..

I don't think so, for the simplre reason that they are in differenct genres. Test Drive Unlimited is quite obviously much less realistic than Gran Turismo and therefore appeals to a different market.

I wouldn't call GT a heavy sim, but more of basics. Hopefully though, and I know you have to agree with me, that Hardcore mode will be something like Forza and GT, or even wishing, like GTR.

Well, ok, I doubt it'll be GTR realistic, but hopefully GT/Forza realisitic.

ive got to say i bought gran turismo 4 day it came out it was alright played it for a while but then i got forza and i was playing it all the time becuase it was so much more realistic and the way you could put the design on the cars it was just great so in my oppinion im not going to waste money on a ps3 for gt hd ill wait and buy forza

gran turismo 4- 5/10 because of all the cars
forza motorsport- 10/10 because it was a very addictive game with great online play

The problem with the Gran Turismo series is that they never really advanced in terms of gameplay from the original. Better graphics, more cars, more circuits..... same game. There's so much more that could have been added to make it a far better game.

Forza is hardly more realistic as both games simulate something better than the other.

GT4 was the first game that I'd seen that had 24 hour races that actually went for 24 hours. Damn them, killing my PS2.
