Basically, everything worked fine up until about 6 weeks ago. I havent had chance to really sit down and slob with the xbox until now, so yesterday I decided to put in a few hours...

xBox live is working fine, and I can browse/download etc. However when the actual game is Playing, I dont appear to be connected to the TDU Servers. There are no other players online either. On the menu screens at the top left corner where it usually says "TDU Severs Available or Unavailable" there is just a little red icon but no text.

Any ideas? I need to get back online - offline play is lame...

I had the same problem a long time ago. The reason why it happend to me was beacuse my Live-Gold had expired.

Check if your Gold account has expired :)

That's the only thing i can think of :)

yeah i think my gold subscription expired in this time but you can still play if u only have a silver account right? What do I have to do to get back on?

im gonna get properly pissed shortly, iv just paid 15 quid for the gold account thingy and im still not online!

So your gold expired and now you have paid for more,but it still doesent work?

1.Did you buy your gold subscription whit a card via the Xbox or a prepaid card in the store?

2. Are you sure you did everything right when you fixed gold?

just did it via xboxlive.com... my status went upto gold, so i booted the game up again, no sign of the tdu servers, then went back to my dashboard and my status has changed back to silver... :mad: just checked it again now, and its gold again but still no sign of other players etc

Go to options/online and see if you've unchecked any of the boxes

It seems that Xbox Live had some problems yesterday :)

Try TDU again.

guessing there might have been some kind of failure in the live service then?

Just checked it now and I actually got a message stating "TDU Servers Unavailable" so we'll have to wait and see if they come back up again at some point. I'm gonna try moving my xbox nearer to my wireless router (later today) to see if its a signal strength problem.

you need a gold account to play other online users, with silver you can go online but cant do that much

The servers have been a bit cranky tonight. Quick sign out-back in sorts it out though.

Who got the 2 quid then?

well it looks like f166m and mastermodd both kinda enlightened me with the info about the servers being down on boxing day/gold account being a must have if u want to play other people online...
