New Years Eve

To me New Years Eve is a complete waste of time and causes more harm than good and I for one hate it, its the most depressing time in the Year for me, and lets face it, what good is it? its simply an excuse to go out and get..........well you know and that then in alot of cases turns into violence and then what? see its no good, what a hopeless waste of effort.........and another thing what is there to celebrate? a NewYear? what is so special about a New Year? think about it realistically for a moment, the new year is going to be the same as any other, full of misery, sickness, death and maybe one or two good things, but does that warrant the manic celebrations that go on on New Years Eve? in my opinion NO!!! period.

There you are the Prophet of Misery has spoken, and don't answer me back because I am in a furious mood with everything in my life, so unless you want a verbal mauling from me then don't bother and mods now I have ranted feel free to delete this please

Long time no speak also, thanks for your kind words, I probably would get a pet but for one thing, my Mum hates animals but does'nt object to ones on the TV!

She is so house proud that the thought of a pet however clean would not appeal to her, so I must carry on alone and miserable, story of my life that, come to mention it, a friend of mine in Florida suggested I right my Autobiography, he thinks that I might think him mad, and the way I feel now, I do, but he told me to seriously think about it as he thinks I could be an inspiration to others, and even if it was just one person it would be worth it, maybe it would maybe it would'nt, but I feel a fool just thinking about it, so I probably won't.

Off topic again, just can't do anything right now can I?

All Christmas I have spent on the Net just building the old forum and trying to build a website, asked for advice and inspiration on the various support forums, and as always got nothing back except jerks saying they don't understand what I'm saying?!?!? what the hell is this? am I a martian!!!??? No I am not, and I was'nt asking the earth, just for a little help here and there, these day's its a case of "Sod you Jack, I'm allright"

Then I sat on my forum waiting for members!! how damn sad is that then?!?!? and although guests came, no members, bless ol Fluxx, he joined and I am eternally grateful to him for that

Still I am the Prophet of Misery and its natural therfore to be miserable at all times........infact it is a requirement.

If I started a Club for Miseries I'd be the only one, hence the reason why I don't :nuts:

For all of you who do go out and have a ball tonight, then enjoy yourselves, but spare a thought not for me, but for the many people like me that are alone and have no-one.........why should I? some might ask.......well all I'll say is that one day it could be you, lives can turn and change on a sixpence, mine did and it is'nt turning back.

Anyway, even if you don't think of others at this time, the choice is yours, I don't mean to sound like a dictator, people do as they please anyway, and the only true dictator here is Blair (don't get me started on Politics)

Ack, not one to complain but I'm not for the "pour your heart out on a public forum" sympathy vote.

I know things can get really hard in life, I've been there, hit rock bottom, and bounced back better than ever. :bravo:

SSJ Flipip, I'm fully aware that life can be hard on young people too, but maybe at your young age you have been blessed with less rubbish than other people. Silence is golden, especially when you don't know anything about circumstances, that should be always rule #1. Do you like it when older people patronise you? Then imagine how incredibly annoying it is when a young one does it to someone who's way older.

I'm dead against people saying **** about themselves on a public forum. They don't deserve it, most of all HT certainly doesn't deserve it. He's a great guy from what I've seen.
I just can't stand "I am worthless" threads that get carried on and on. I've seen them everywhere around the internet.

I'll make use of rule #1 now. Since I've got no idea what HT is actually going through, I'm just getting myself into hot water. =.=

in HT defence, the reason the internet is such a common place for people to express their feelings, is that it's almost entirely anonymous. it's become one of the things the internet is suited to.
