Buying award cars twice?

hey guys.

there was a thread made a while ago about the best ways to make money.

one guy mentioned that he'd sold about 14 Chrysler ME Four Twelves on the trade section of the game, and earned alot of money.

I unlocked this car tonight by doing all the races with gold cups, so i collected the chrysler and put it on trade for 2.5million. it sold within 1 hour. so I thought
id go pick up another one and sell it again to make me some more cash.

to my surprise when i went to the showroom it says "you cannot buy an award car twice..." :(

if this is true how did the other guy sell 14 of them?

any ideas? cheers!

He bought the cars at low prices on trade (lowish) an sold them for a profit. You can buy lmitless amounts of them on trade but only get one free from the showroom. In other words, you just lost you ME 412

You don't see many on trade so snap them up cheap when you can and sell them for profit.

oh ffs, ive just gone on the trade and bought a 3mill chrysler ME, its took my money but came up with an error saying "function is not available at the moment" ,

so im down 3 million and no car!!!!
