how to find friends in game? ... for a cruise

hi guys,

bit of a noobie question here so i apologise in advance.

me and a mate want to meet up on the map. we both goto the same place but we cant see each other, presumably we are connected to different tdu servers? not 100% sure how it all works.

is there an easy way to meet up at a specific place just for a drive around?

If you go to Your Map...Then Go To Players....Then Set The Filter to See Only freinds he will show up....go to him on The Map and Press A to jump to the Same Place/Server....This does not always work.....if it doesnt just keep trying

yeh it seems very random indeed.

i just wondered how all these people who organise cruises do it? or do they leave it to luck aswell?

a lot of luck comes into it for cruises ... I've held or attended quite a few now.

basically you need to have people on your friends list and then as above filter them on the map.

one point to add on that if they have an N/A against their name on the right hand side of the map (where it also tells you what car they're driving) then it means they're not available because they are either ... in a race, in a house/dealer/shop/etc, or that the session they are on already has eight people (the max that TDU allows).

if you use the map and filters to zoom to a friend and theyre not there its not a problem.. just park up at the side of the road and dont move. eventually more and more players will start to appear.. dont know why this happens, but it does work. just be patient :bravo:

I agree its crazy. I just keep trying to re-spawn on a selected friend (that is waiting for me).

Also try meeting in quiet parts of the island rather than heavily populated areas. Like the north east.

Patience is the key I feel.
