I PM'ed Tenebra about this about 3 days ago.

She said that it happened for her at first too, but eventually it started to work. It hasn't for me yet either, but I;m not sure why.

Microsoft.... Internet Explorer... 7.

Unfortunately, Microsoft have spent the last few years bending the rules of HTML and W3C, and then forcing their browsers onto the general population. Now IE 7 is displaying pages differently to IE6, and you get stuff like this. :nuts:


For the record, Firefox 1.5 is showing the page perfectly... I could enter the competition, but then, I already have a WII. You guys get a better chance of winning if I don't enter, so be thankful :p




Oh, and Firefox 2.0 looks pretty good too....

Guys, could you please tell me what browser are you using when you see nothing useful? I had that problem (on and off, as I tol SSJ5) with IE7. I'll do some more testing but obviously details from you would be most helpful.

i'm using IE7

there are often problems with the atari site not really any other site

It is IE as usual, IE7 to be exact, everything else works fine, looks like the atari webmaster(s) use Firefox (good good!) for testing and typically IE7 is still rank at keeping with standards. Even IE6, IE5.5 and IE5.01 allow you to see it appropriately.

That's embarrassing for the new, improved and webmaster friendly IE7. lol

Yep it's IE 7 for me, so that's almost certainly whats causing the problem. I'll use my brothers laptop, I think he uses Firefox so I'll do the question from there.

you can enter, just download firefox, or the much better opera, both are free and much better than IE7.

you can enter the compotition, and find salvation in the godly power of the better browsers while you're at it :p

oh, by the way, the wii browser is opera powered, the big N has got some sence!

the Wii's web browser is actually surprisly good

and you can watch flash and google video but for some reason not really youtube?

also you can have multiple pages open although i never worked out how to switch. I had a video with sound running in one and another vid with sound in the other but never worked out how to stop the first one rolleyesa

thats opera for you, the tabs work like that in opera 9 too.

oh, IE7 people, can you view the full smiley list at the right of the posting box, i cant on anything but IE6... i can see everything as far right as the yellow rolleyes smiley, ( :rolleyes: ) but nothing more.

moving on, when (:p) i win the wii, can i melt the dbz game that comes with it, having a dragonbollocks Z game would seriously damage my street cred lolblue:
