TDU Disc Read Problems

I bought TDU for my brother for Xmas, it wouldn't read the disc, once coming up on screen Unreadable Disc and twice saying "To play this game please insert it into an Xbox 360 console". So i returned it and got a new disc, it played fine for about a week then refused to go any further than the TDU menu, you'd click on Continue/New game and it would then say "The Disc Is Unreadable".

Did anyone else have any problems like this?

Nope. Please take it back to your store again for another replacement, and test your console to ensure that it doesn't give you the same error message with other games.

Yeah it plays other games no problem, i was just wondering if it was a common occurence....cheers

i have the same problem i have to either turn it off until it reads the disc or open and close disc drive until it reads it :(

Mine sometimes freezes or fails to load or goes this disk is unreadable, but thats just because the 360 got hungry and chewed the disk, its got a 1cm thick line of scratching that took about 6 hours to get rid of to a playable level with a disk doctor. Try disk doctoring the disk

Mine too has had this problem 2 or 3 times now.
i just take it out, wipe it, and put it back in.

I occassionally get the game completely freeze on me ... no buttons working on the controller etc ... so a good old turn the 360 off and back on again!

To date I've also had "disc unreadable" occur to me three times I think (once today spookily) ... and is "so far/touch wood" fixable by taking the disc out and giving it a quick wipe with a CD/DVD cloth.
