The player cannot be reached: connection failed

I get that message a lot when trying to join a race. Anyone know why?

Sorry its not much help but I get this problem to and have no idea what causes it.it appears to be an issue with that particular player though as I have had it with the same players on numerous days, however I can race against them when they are not the host of the session.

Same thing happened to me alot (Fixed Now Though) with Neil funnily enough...Check you NAT is open by testing your Xbox Connection...if its restricted then you wont be able to connect to some players...if it is Open then it woul be The Player you are trying to connect to whos NAT would be Strict or Moderate and there is nothing you can do to stop it

How do I check it?

Go to your dashboard and then the las Blade (Console Settings i think) then Go to connections and Test The Connection
