Multiplayer Races

I've been trying to do these today in my Quest to make Ace and i've come to a stop. I've bought everything to get thoughs achivments. I've done the single player speed, race and time challanges, tour the island. plus loads of other thing. Now i've come to the multiplayer races. You have to win 30 of them, I can't get one. Basicly I always come secounds, its so frustrating that there's always someone better than you.

Basicly have you any tips on which races to do, cars ect. Would be deeply appreated, thanks.

I did a race in the centre of the main city type part of the island, where it's basically a big U. My advice is to go for the less powerful car class races as mistakes are less punishing. I won 95% of my online races with class D cars.

also there is not always someone better than you, if you think like that you have lost at the line, think positive (slacky taught me this)

at the line tell youself that you are gonna win (how i beat solo)

Thanks for the advice, will try and think postive. How do you choose the rank of car?

If you're hosting you can select which car class/es are allowed in the options menu when you set the race up. If you're joining another race the info window on the right will have what car class the race is, but a lot of online races are not restricted to car class, which means everyone will be using Saleen's or Enzo's.

I wouldn't do that becouse they have to be ranked races and there are 30 of them.

I just tryed a race with everyones help and won. If I get rally stuck I may get back to you. Thanks for the offer but i'll try this a few times. Thanks.

Right now im annoyed. Im winning by miles in a f - e race, me in a skyline other in alfa GT's. As I said, miles ahead on a piece of straight and right before I cross the finishing line both over take me out of nowhere. I may have to think positivly but this has happened twice in two races. Once with a shelby daytona thing.

Three Times, right Im going class G. And now i've got people using me as a moving brake, Smashing into me to slow down, that has to be illigal in racing. Gamertag 'aworro'.

ALWAYS run with collisions off in ranked multi races... set up your own room. 50% of the time the other players dont hit you on their screen, but hit you on yours. Lag issuses I race with Aworro, and he has major lag issues with me too. Ive seen him 30m behind me bumping into where my car is on his screen... pay attention next time, your place marker will flip to second long before he passes you.

Right, will do next time. It was the fact he didn't even try to slow down, just accselerated up the straight and when the corner hit, no brakes, just stright into me, I went into the bush and got stuck and he carryed on round the corner.

Best thing is to make sure you're 2nd going round the last corner quite close to 1st place man, that way you'll get a massive toe from the slipstream.

Simplest way to ensure you don't get smacked up the **** is to turn the colisions off then no one can hit anyone
