Unfortunatly, Ive not been able to get online much ( I also havn't been able to get my time in for the lotus challenge either yet Jay !) as I've been getting lots of homework.
I'm not promising anything but I'm organising the cruise for next friday at 00:07 GMT :) Meeting at the Aston Martin dealer.( time and location picked for a reason.)
I dont think this has been done before either.
Anyway, I'll have both Bond and Bond Villan's cars available.
I may later put a restriction as to how many per a certain Bond car.
May I also say It's my first cruise in ages and the first since the closure of MM and I'll be making the route up as we go.

ill come, but the time says 0007 not 007 so you could put 0.07am and ill be in DB4 if thats OK as its similar to DB5and its silver like in the film

I'll be there mate. I'm coming in a green XKR. The villians car in Die Another Day. It was a convertible in the movie, but I'll have to make do with the hard top! (It had rockets too...hmm...)

I'll be boring and take a vanquish, looking though the list and there is only reallt the Vanquish, Espirt and the XKR.

You've got the DB9 too of course. It's the souped up 'S' version in Casino Royale, but it'd do right?
And at the end of Die Another Day, some nice cars fall out of the back of the huge cargo plane...would they count? Lol. I've got a feeling its a 355 and a Diablo though...so neither would be any good! Where's our BMW's Atari!! tonguegre

No it's a new model, the DBS, not a DB9, plus he never uses the modern Esprit...

I agree, he never used the remodelled Esprit. But I would argue that the DBS is based entirely on the DB9...?

Based on the DBR9 running in the GT championships, so I would imagine it's quite different...

Perhaps you're right. But if you look at it, it seems to me like it's got the chassis of a DB9 with tweaked body panels and styling. I'm sure it's got a damn sight more power though!!!

Yeah, it's based on the DBR9, which is just a GT class racer of the DB9.

Just painted my XKR the exact metallic green colour from the movie, it looks awesome! Also, after looking at a few pics I realised that the precise model of alloy wheel is also available in game too. If anyone else is planning on taking the XKR too then pick the "Detroit" five spoke, it's identical.

Umm the DBS used in the latest bond film was just a DB9 modded to look like a DBS

What? Aston Martin designed the DBS using the DBR9 as a base. But it IS basically a more mental DB9, not that I'm complaining. It looks killer.

Hi Guys,
just to clarify things ... the DBS is a HIGH Performance version of the DB9 ... funadamentally the same bodyshell as far as I'm aware with modified drivetrain (engine/brakes/suspension etc).
Oh and the Esprit on here is way too Modern for any Bond film ... In (my favourite Bond film) 'The Spy Who Loved Me' the Esprits used were actually some of the first made ... If I'm correct one of the 2 actual cars for the driving sequences (the rest were mock-ups to some extent) was Colins own car.
Oh and the old DB in TDU is a Zagato ... never used by Bond ... so sorry to put a downer on it lads but there's only really the Vanquish for you and perhaps the XKR ... if you exclude the fact that it's a cabrio in the film.

i love using the vanquish s so i'll keep an eye on this thread and if i'm around when you guys cruise i'll try to join :)
i read that in The Spy Who Loved Me, the bronze coloured lotus esprit is actually the white one repainted! it was in a Bond movies book so i reckon it's probably true?
