Is it Just me or Has this forum Died a Death recently?
i think people are getting very impatient with M$ And Atari For Lack of Info on a DLC Please Could a Moderator Confirm The Presence of a DLC in the VERY near Future?

Don't know about the death of the forums, have only been checking in at the month for.. well.. hate to be a pig about it.. but the DLC's.

its cause i left for amsterdam:P well now im back so ten start putting posts down about the dlc:)

You can't blame the MOD's / Atari / Eden for being quiat becouse they have have already exaplained that they are really busy getting everything ready. Would you prefer infomation and it to be late, or no infomation and it to come earily, I know i'd rarther have the secound option.

Atari can't know what stage of testing Microsoft are at because they are not Microsoft. We cannot have a go at Atari for not giving us information they don't have. I will complain if I think it is justifiable but this just isn't. DLC is a few days late. So what. I know I gunna get flamed for this and I know people have said this so many time before. It’s a game, relax. Plus Atari is run by humans; humans make mistakes with thing, mistakes mean time delays, so do other things. All I’m saying is give Atari / Eden / Microsoft a break. They are doing their best and trying to get it right. Ok a little bit more information would be nice and a sticky with all the frequently asked questions would be nice. Might start a thread like that now actually, hopefully it may stop the endless flow of the same questions.

Make up your minds, please :mefiant: You don't really think updates each day informing you that So-and-So at Atari has sent the code to MS, then each day giving you details of who at MS is testing what.

I would, like alot of the Members like some up to Date info on Weather or not a DLC can be expected....i know Atari/Eden/Moderators cant stay on M$'s Backs but a little info would be nice and keep people coming back to the forum and keep things alive.....im thinking of your Job Here Tenebra :p

It's hardly a DLC Request thread. I'm just getting sick of being told "you'll have so-and-so on this date" then when the date comes... Is it available? Hell no.
Yes I'm impatient, but that doesn't mean I'm in the wrong for expecting something to be available when I'm told it will be.
I'm a bit more miffed than usual as I'm staying with a friend of my Mum's who has an internet connection, but as of Friday will be going back to my Nan's who doesn't have an internet connection. If the DLC were released when it was said it will be, I could've downloaded it and that would have kept me busy (TDU-wise) while my family and I sort our problem out (the whole not having a place to live thing). However, as it stands I won't get the DLC, and therefore will have to wait a lot longer to get it because of... well I don't know what the problem is that causes the delay of DLC.
Point is, don't make false promises. I was happy as Larry with the Xmas DLC, but this is going bonkers. TDU is hella boring offline, and without new cars to keep me interested I might end up trading it in for a more worthwhile game. I'm a hardcore gamer you see...
Many people won't agree with me, and I'll be the first to admit that I can be a big kid when it comes to games with "I want my DLC NOW!" but I don't think we're being unreasonable.
Like someone said earlier... Without us punters Atari wouldn't be. And remember, the customer is ALWAYS right!

This thread is supposed to be about the state of the forum not another DLC bitching point.
Therefore to get back on topic.
In my view the forum has been in steady decline for a while know.
As far as I can see the number of posts has reduced significantly, the mods have taking to randomly locking threads without any real reason (I know of at least 3 threads that should have been locked a long time ago, and at least 3 threads that should never have been locked).
The forum has now basically become a place to moan about DLC and effectively discuss the Beta (which shouldn't even be beeing discussed here).
Ask most of the people you meet on the island and they will tell you all they look hear for now is information on the DLC's.
The number of cruises being organised through the forum has drop from 2 a day to 1 or 2 a week.
Thats my two pence worth, if its worth anything.

Errr...actually, the silly number of threads we had to lock were all beta related. You can do a search and see how much fun we had repeating not to talk about the beta here.

Then show some initiative (not you personally, Neil) and organise more cruises. I haven't had any time to play any games at all in weeks (apart from some DS while commuting), if you are waiting for me it'll be on TDU2.

Hmm I've noticed that the cruises kind of got knocked for six a bit after the recent server capacity issues. I'd love to organise some myself but my serious lag issues due to my useless ISP prevent this madred:

LOL! As if those are the 2 choices we have! Right now we're getting late and no info.
To be honest, I would actually much prefer to be kept informed, even if meant the release was delayed. When you're kept in the dark, you have no way of telling whether something is late or early anyway.
As for the Death of the Forum... it's as dead as that force feedback upgrade we were promised.
