Drivin Challenges & Vehicle Speeds

I am trying to win 2 CUSTOM Driv-in challenegs to get the achievement and so far not 1 dam win last night i beat 16 peoples times and most of them where ending with 10mins.

They wud get beating by a car I already have for example 1 beat my time with the Saleen Twin Turbo. He got a sped of 267.8mph where as my Saleen can't even match that on the track that was created. I have seen some speeds for cars/bikes I own and mine can't even match them not even if I do freeride and go down a long straight.

Me and this other guy have tried to win 2 races as we both only need the Club, Custom Races and 5000 miles achievements to finish the game.

I don't want to cause a problem with this being my first post but could people be cheating somehow. Or can you get faster versions of the cars from Marketplace thats the only other reason Ic an think of there speeds being way above normal even ater upgrading my cars/bikes.

They have a very fast car with a ungrades to level 3. It's all about taking the right lines in an out of corners to maximize speed on the striaghts.

You'll probably find people are drafting the AI cars on the straight. That's how you can exceed the normal top speed of a particular car.

i dont see why you are having trouble, i did both challenges within ten minutes, easy peasy :)

hi get a mate to put up a challenge for you that your good at and hope no one beats you or if you dont have a ccr or saleen then get them to set up a diner challenge in a lower class or car/bike

just got a club member upto ace all he needed were the club races and diners he did it over 2 nights quite easily in the end the main problem is geting the club races there never seemed to be any other clubs up for races

PS im 5th in the world in the speed challenges and i didnt get the saleen that fast either lots of people fix the challenges to there advantage

Ur telling me. Im the mate that Micndiesel helped out. All i can say is there must be loads of people cheating in the custom challenges. Theres speeds cars have done that are not able to do plus they're weren't drafting as the challenge had no traffic on. All i can say is keep trying, you'll get there in the end. Btw, this was when the game was still buggy, dont know if it will still work.
Try something stupid like turning off your xbox whilst it is uploading to trick the system. (Note: I will not take responsibility if you try this! You're a pillock for just reading my post! tonguegre )

i did that on my first memory then it didnt work on my second

Very old post I know but I played the game last night as my mate wanted a decent car game and I recommended this. Anyways when he finally got the option to create some tracks he created a really **** 1 with G class cars only. And I went into my game (had to start again my game save deleted) and I went to the drive in's looked for his uploaded track couldn't find it. So I waited a day thinking it might take a while with people uploading left, right & centre but nothing.

Looks like I will be stuck at 990 cause know I have to start over again and buy all my cars back I had 60 as well.
