i just got a message about this via the TDU mail. it mentions time in EST, and i was wondering if it is a worldwide compotition? i mean, it seems to be an american sort of event, but it mentions no region-specific details...

Yeah its available to anyone to enter. Runs from 7pm-9pm GMT. Be warned though I have had a lot of interest in this so it might be hard to find my room at times.

an idea i have, is that instead of having new rooms, you should stick to one and kick everyone after each round, preventing re-entries and giving everyone a chance.

Any Idea what tracks? Also, Im not sure if im alone on this one, but could we run collisions off? Lag seems to make it very dificult to drive in a certain radius of opponents... might prevent some frusterations...

I will stick to the circuit next to the Airport I think, but will make sure no grass cutting is allowed. I will consider turning off collisions if it seems to be causing a problem.

Thank YOU... well worth the frustration of trying to get into the rapidly filling rooms! And as a side note... there was also lots (far more than usual it seemed) of activinty on other ranked and player match rooms... nice to see oahu so busy.

Cutting cost you time on that track with those cars... the only advantage it gives is if collisions were on for your race, they could come across the road and knock you off track.
