They simply don't have the licence for them, I couldn't care less though, there are enough cars.

EA holds the Right for the BMW Licenses...
Porsche as well...
This is why those cars aint ingame...

:p EA is doing the same **** as Sony is doing for F1 games.... EA's raciing games suck ***, but they do have the licenses and do jack **** with it... Sony has the F1 license, but their games shouldn't be allowed to carry the name of F1, it sucks so bad, and nowhere near realism.... If Eden Games would be able to obtain a license of BMW, there would finally be a game with some good realistic production BMW's in it :p

1st its Alpina not Alpine and 2nd its kinda the same as RUF is to Porsche but RUF is performance oriented, Alpina is into "exclusivity". But that doesnt mean their cars are slow, most of them have 4,4L V8 500HP engines with superchargers. Also just like RUF they are registered as an automobile manufacturer in Germany.

RUF are a completely separate manufacturer to porsche.
Yes they do tune porsches.
Yes they use the wheel bases, chasis and bodies of porches.
No they are not porsches.
Yes they are better than porsches.(well, that depends).

i am really bumbed that there is no bmw in this game and also knowing the fact that there will never be any bmw's in this game, also they couldn't use Alpina because it still have the BMW logo on it unlike Ruf which doesn't have a porsche logo on it. O and by the way Bmw-Viper you forgot the M3 CSL, probibly the best car bmw ever made.

those are all tuners and not independant manufacturers like Alpina and RUF
