Hi everyone!

Just wondering if anyone lucky enough to play the PC demo has tried using a Playstation 2 pad.

I use it to play TOCA 3 and it's great, but NFS Carbon has real issues with it. There's no deadzone, and it never centres properly, even when recalibrating it and even when trying to use a special program to alter deadzone etc.

Really looking forward to playing this, but don't fancy the disappointment of it being unplayable/awkward to control. (I also don't want to spend loads of money on a pad/wheel either)

Many thanks

Steeev

My PS2 pad worked alright for me with the Beta.
But like you said, it has no deadzone so it's very touchy.

Thanks Stew2000!

As long as it centres OK, I'll give it a go.

I did have a Nyko AirFlo which was very good, until it fell on the floor and didn't work anymore.

Wicked news UberJim!

Now let's hope my mid-range PC can cope with this dodgy piece of software. :)

Ahhh, I've been wanting to know the answer to this so cheers for bringing it up :bravo:

Can someone post up their button config? Not sure what I should use, mainly whether I should use the right analog stick to accelerate/brake or use it to look around. Spose the 360's triggers come in handy for this game ^^ (not buying a 360 pad though)

Now all I gotta do is wait for 9 days to get the game :chapeau:
