The beta is closed ... there is no update ... and you won't be able to play TDU PC until it hits store shelves ...

How can you play if the beta has ended. I was able to play the game 2 days after the end of the BETA but just the offline account. I just changed the date to the last day of the beta, but after 2 days even that didn't work.

The SS is from the closed beta, perhaps that doesn't expire in the same way the open beta did. Would try it, but I deleted it weeks ago, like most people I guess.

I can play closed beta just fine with Open Beta key (two of them  ) but only offline as it's closed BETA and online mode for open B has ended.
When was the beta released? :)

Some people are still managing to get both the open and closed beta clients to work, but exclusively offline. It seems you generally need to set your computer time back (not necessarily via BIOS) and have a key that has not been activated yet.
I have both the open and closed beta client, and two keys, but I haven't been able to make these methods work. I believe this is because I have used both keys twice at least.
ohhh okay... i don't have any key .... i'll just have to wait then... hmmm mine does not ask for a key when install

It usually asks for the key when you try to launch the game. It either asks for a key at the "activate & play" screen, or I get a "your system time seems wrong" type message and asks if I want to check it against the server blah blah... You should have had a key emailed to you assuming you got the client from fileplanet/gamespy, otherwise you might well be stuck...

Everyone can get the open beta work in offline mode but you just have to know a few tricks that I'm not going to tell... If you dont play it now you will enjoy the full release more. :)

Oh sure, everyone can, assuming they have the right "tools". Like a key that hasn't been registered multiple times, or an install that happened with a valid key while the online beta was still operating. Registry hacks, time spoofs, etc., these are all still only working for some out of all those who try them.
I have a g25 wheel on the way which I was looking forward to practicing with before the actual release, but have not been able to get it running again. Oh well...

changing the date in the bios makes no difference compared to simply changing it in the OS in either XP or vista
