OK where on earth, does TDU save user data too, on Windows Vista?

I'm trying to uninstall the open beta from my system Manually, and apart from the dodgy registry entries, iv been unable to find where it saves data to on vista.

I never had the beta and dont have vista either - but some game saves go into 'My documents' on XP if you haven't already looked, but tbh this should be in the beta forum =p more likely get an answer over there.

tbh, I'm not interested to know if your getting vista, and I don't really care that you haven't got the beta.

I just want to know, where it installs files to on my system SO I CAN DELETE THEM.

As for the beta forums, I would love to post this question in there, but as my son downloaded and played the bloody thing, I don't have those details. and the rest is personal.

You're so rude. He was only trying to help you. Do a search through the Vista search to find the folder and try including words that you think would be included in the title of the folder (eg. TDU, Test, Drive, Unlimited, Save, Games, etc.). You could also have done a search through the internet to find the beta forums. You could also easily ask your son to point you in the direction of the beta area.

Way to be a prat when somebody tries to help, considering I never said i wanted vista. If you don't know the details cause your son got it then tough luck. happy searching =]

If someone is going to help, then they should at least know something of vista's file structure and the game, to make a positive contribution to a viable answer.

Stating that they neither have Vista, or the beta, how on earth is that supposed to help?

Also from the original reply, (if anyone one would care to go and re-read it) Where exactly is the so called "help" that he was trying to give?

Unless you count the amount of other useless responses, like "try the beta forum's" that are found on this board. I take it, it doesn't cross people's minds that, just by chance, someone may have already done so?

If you don't like how I respond to my own tread when someone is neither positive or has a clue, its simple, move on.

I wasn't being rude, I was pointing out that I do not care to hear about his preference of what software he is running.

Another pointless and childish response, I must ask (even though it drops me almost to the same level),

Those numbers in your name, are they...

1. Your age?
2. Your IQ?
3. All of the above?

I have to say, although this seems quite witty, its still not much help. and a low level format would be a pointless venture.

Hang about, you needed a book? to "win" friends?

May I suggest you get some Help (http://www.rcpsych.ac.uk/)

I've been down the psychiatric route but it was a fruitless venture.

If nobody on this forum or the beta forum has a definitive answer to your question there's always the Atari technical support link you can try.

vista is the worst os ever. it even asks your permission to put something on the desktop or for opening an mp3 file. i think MEDIA CENTRE EDITION is the best ever O.S
