I ordred mine on amazon.co.uk they are posting it on 14th feb. first class so ill have it 15th or 16th. Its in uk stores 16th feb. On pc that is. Just go to your local store and ask them, then u will know for sure.
March 2nd; I've got official e-mail.
my bet is on 23rd of march for the relese in europe, but it doesnt matter who is right, we all want the game asap.

I'm just gonna save the dissapointment on March 2nd and say right now that for North American residents we won't get the game until March 21st (as it's shipped on the 20th). And if it happens to arrive on the 2nd, we'll be that much more surprised.

It's generally agreed that in North America it will be out on the 20th of March. What has been throwing everything off is the sites in Europe, mainly the Uk showing 2nd March, as well as selected Atari Europe sites showing the same. I am reluctant to accept this given the mess it was around this time for the x360 launch, but still, it would be nice! :)
if the PC relese is really going to be on the 2nd march we can expect news about it going gold in just a few days. We will see :)

Don't be so sure... just find someone who ordered from there for the x360 release and ask them how many times they pushed the date back... :rolleyes:
I wouldn't put any faith in what software retail sites have to say.
There's a lot of people who have been disappointed by that, and they don't always know.
Atari (they should know) are at the moment quoting 16th March in UK.
If it ain't ready, it ain't ready.
The same people quick to complain about the delay would be the first to log on to this forum and complain about a bug they found if it was released prematurely.
Life is good if the biggest problem in it is a delay in this game. :p

I hope for your sake, and all other Danes, that I am wrong, but don't count on that. The rest of Europe is starting to show the same date, around the 20th of March, which is what the U.S. sites, including the Atari site, have been showing for a while.
Like I said, I hope for you I'm wrong, but just don't put too much hope in that early March date... weirdblue

If all known bugs will be fixed, online servers will be improved and game engine will be optimized for better performance it really doesnt matter if it is 2nd march or 16th march or maybe april.
the game release could av been like the beta and i would still av bought it! seems to me that big game companys like atari and ea just like pissing peeps about! why cant they just set a release date and keep to it.i ordered this game last summer and the release said oct or nov then they put it bk and once again bk to waiting. they could at least kept the beta goin till it was released.

COMPLETELY agree, I'm getting so anxious, my counter-strike source-ness is getting way boring, and Battlefield 2142 is fun...but i need some racing in my life, really really bad.

on the official tdu website it says march 2007 but doesnt mention any dates so i'm assuming sometime around the end of march....veeeeerrrryyyyy unlikely its gonna be the 2nd of march.but i really could do without all these delays....

But I agree that it's now really starting to get irritating.
Where I bought the game (bol.com in Holland), it still says 2nd March, but on the Dutch Atari website, there is no info whatever about the game or the release date, and the info there is says, translated into English, something like
"The makers of Vrally are back with a new racegame for the XBOX360..."
Why don't they even change that X360 into PC or something, it's been saying that now for more than 3 months or so.
Anyway I hope here in Holland the date IS 2nd March, because the week after that I DO have time to play the game (unlike other weeks)...

Ive been told its the 16th of March. Hopefully they have sorted all the bugs out by then, if not expect alot of patches to be released or one big patch lol mdr1
yer, i if they carry on this rate it probs be out next year.. would be good to set like a date ahead and then put it forward when there done, get our hopes up and then keep putting it back, is kinda annoying

You are bound to see the dates change and think it's a delay if you are judging from what gaming stores post on their sites, or even tell you when you call/visit, but that doesn't actually make it a delay, or official in any way.

It doesnt matter how much spin you put on it, it is still a delay.
Statement by Atari for fans + retailers = Atari statement, therefore what we go on. Its like Microsoft sending out an email saying full of bugs - does it make any difference that a: the statement is unofficial, or b: Vista is full of bugs?

This is complete madness!!
Release dates are varying wildly on online stores (usually somewhere around march 16-20) and people are saying they've been playing the game for at least a week now (and I have no reason not to believe them). Furthermore, most gaming sites say that the game has gone gold on March 6. Now my question is: what version have you guys been playing all the while? weirdblue

I Got mine from Gameseek last week, and it also has that cover, Except that it has PCFormat and PCGamer scores at the bottom near the Eden logo.
Thanks to whoever posted the (short lived) thread way back at the beginning of March, The UK release date delay is a dum trick by Atari?
