Instant Challenge Glitch?

I just won an Instant Challenge and got nothing. I first posted the best score, then someone topped me. I received the message saying I was bested. So I went back in and beat it again. My ID was showing as the benchmark when it closed. The challenge was called "Keona Hills". Am I wasting my time on these things? Has anyone else experienced Instant Challenge fraud?

Yeah Diner Challenges. I have been sorting on the "time left" column for challenges ending soon. So someone must have trumped me at the last second. Although my ID was posted as the leader at the last minute. Oh well. They should have a damage meter on these challenges to force you on the road. I saw a 5 mile downhill multiple switchback completed in a minute and 20 seconds by a Nissan Skyline which is IMPOSSIBLE staying on the road yet alone in a Skyline (that an average of 225 MPH!). Most of the Diner Challenges are more puzzles than road racing time trials. By puzzles I mean that the guy driving the Nissan figured out some leap sections off road to blast through the gates. rolleyesa
