Hey guys I'm another American who moved over here because that forum is completely worthless. I'm so happy with the fact that we finally got the news on the third DLC. what the hell are you on about "clones", the merc wll be with out a doubt the most original car in test drive, F40, the nicest ferrari and looks nothing like the others. ruf Rturbo, rufs do look similer but not a clone. imo its not the best pack theres been but most the cars are nice.

a 250gto sold a couple of years ago for $15,000,000 but another went up in the last year for $7,000,000 and went unsold so it all depends on the market at the time. but i think the gtr will be around 3 mil $

I am completely happy with the choice of cars especially the f40, although i would be even more happier with a f599 fiorano but hey thats life.

I though the F40 would be more like $500,000 becouse a good one is about £250,000 but before anyone says so, im not complaining or asking you to change it, just noticed it. You can get F40's for 200 grand but they have quite a few miles on them and as ingame ones have 0 miles.
Anyway what does it matter.
good point gt pherelas there is one in the uk for sale at the mo think its barely covered a 1000 miles and its 250.
imo its the greatest ferrari of all time its iconic and there will be nothing else like it ever again.

i do think its kinda odd that it did take so long for the car pack for 3 of the cars end up being unique.
sure all porches look the same, so techniqly it is a clone. the caddy(lookwise) is just the xts with a roof, the 71 stingray is a clone without a roof, the audi s6 looks like a audi we already have(not sure which). im not complaining about the cars in the pack, im sure ill drive themall and i know im gonna enjoy 4 of them, but i find it dumb that it took a extra month for this. my hopes for next months cars are the diablo gt, testarossa, ac 427, charger super bee, caddy sixteen, wiesmann mf4 gt. if at least 3 of those cars make it into the next pack, ill be satisfied with it :atari:

The Ferrari FXX will never be in the game. rolleyesa It is a purely experimental car, the owners don't even know the exact specs of the car. It is the testbed for the Enzo's successor. The successor will be the first Ferrari to be able to say that it was developed worldwide. Whenever that car comes out we may then be able to better speculate the FXX's performance figures.
i think it will be 2.5 million :nuts:

F40's can go for a lot of different prices, most of which is through mileage. When you buy a can in the game they have o miles so something with little miles does cost more that $400,000 but before people take it the wrong way, I'm not complaining about it. They've gone up a lot recently, I know one that was sold a few years ago, 6,000 miles for £180,000. Cheap, Enzos have gone up as well, they go for about £800,000, that's just ridiculous.
I wonder if the Rturbo is the 996 version, the best one after the 993 imo.

don't know anything about the rturbo but i preferred the 993 to the 996, never got used to the addition of the indicators within the headlamp module, just seems a weird shape to me.

the prices seem to be off pretty bad. like the F1 GT, theres only 3 made but yet its cheaper then the GTR. they should at least make the cars worth their MSRP, but apparently not. my guess is $1.150 mill

they have listed all 7 cars a few days ago (Ferrari F40, Caddy CTS, Chrysler Crossfire roadster, Ruf Rturbo, Audi S6, stingray convertable, mercedes clk-gtr ifu didnt know) and i know it would most likely be the cerbera that makes it if the S12 even makes it, but i just hope for the speed 12 because i like the looks more :nuts:

whens the 3rd car pack available to download, i was told midday today but i cant find it.
Im pretty pleased with car pack 3. Mole can you confirm if this going to be the last car pack. I have heard rumours that this is the last one.
I really hope not as would very much like a Ferrari Testarossa and since Eden have the Ferrari license am sure there would be no problems including that one in the game.
As far as the Bugatti/BMW's are concerned read the other posts. They will not be in the game due to Eden not having the Licenses for them.

Don't quote me on this but remember the game states 125+ cars, 90 on disc, each DLC has 7 but then again only certain people know the real answer.

Oh and to check if you have updates go to www.atari.com and sign in. Look down the left where it says newsletters and click go. On the new screen, look under My Games. Select TDU Xbox 360 and then select all the yes boxes below it.

they should be remembered the way that they rolled out of the factory. by tuning a car you no longer have a car made in '69 instead you have a car from 2007 with an old design

ok im gonna accept the F40 but i need an F50 in my garage its the most sexiest of the ferrari's and it needs to be on TDU would be a crime for it not to be and we need some veyron action and maybe you guys at atari should check out the barabus TKR 0-60 in 1.67 seconds 270 MPH top speed now thats a car worthy of TDU
ps dont mistake barabus with the merc tuners brabus this is different company

erm yeah it does the ford GT sounds infinite better with big v8 backfiring when you come of the throttle

I am a bike nut myself, and it wouldnt give me greater satisfaction than to see a gixer thou in this game, it looks bad in the black paint scheme, and the sound alone would convert a few. The benelli tornado is a nice bike two, i think that as we have ducati in the game it would be nice to see their new 1098, or even better still a desmosedici. Until then i will just have to continue riding the zx10r which i love.
Yes The new Ducati is Reeaaal Nice :D Althoug I Do like the Sound of The Japanese bikes more than the v-twins most italians got.. btw it would be great that when you tune ur bike you actually get a different exhaust or something like that cause 202 bhp with an std. exhaust... haha. But indeed for now i'll have to enjoy myself on the kawasaki wich isn't bad at all :D but it would be even beter with an akrapovic hahaha bless :atari: for putting bikes in this game :)

I know what you mean you cant beat the sound of an in-line four especially from the bigger bikes. Seen a new cbr1000rr the other day with an akrapovic exhaust it sounded like a storm was brewing. After market exhausts would be a nice touch to the bikes being able to buy either a scorpion, akrapovic, blueflame or yoshimura etc. With a different sound from each one to vary it up. Then it becomes a matter of how loud you want it to sound.

ha ha yeah, loud isnt the word, i could imagine blood running down from my ear and out the bottom of the helmet. See rossi's M1 is so loud he has to leave the baffle in to reduce the noise, i think his is the only bike that has one fitted.
