Right, can one of the mods just answer these questions and close the thead.
NO ONE ELSE POST HERE
Questions:
1.
Is Hardcore mode anything to do with forcafeedback? If you do not get Hardcore Mode will you not have ForcaFeedback?
2.
What is the reason for the price?
3.
Any idea's when it will be out?
4.
Will you compensate people who have been tricked?
Right I think thats all people asked. I've been trying to get people to look at it from yourside but if you could awnser a few questions that would be good so people will shut up about it. Thanks.
And A reminder,if your not a MOD
DON't POST HERE
Questions:
1.

No, Hardcore mode isn't directly involved with FF compatibility (although Hardcore has been especially designed to enjoy the racing wheel)
2.
What is the reason for the price?
I don't have information on this, I'll see if I can find it out.
3.
Any idea's when it will be out?
No further updates for the release date, so we still stand with the latest info both you and me have, ie towards the end of the month.
4.
Will you compensate people who have been tricked?
It's a change of strategy, not quite a trick. I don't have anything official as yet but I'll personally follow up to see if there is a way to make you happier.
In a frantic sea of insults, flames and the likes, this post by Mole is the only little thing that I needed.
Someone from Atari who admits to there being a problem and wanting to do something about it.
I tip my hat to you Mole and will be watching this post.

Thanks. Hopefully people will read this infomation and stop complaining. I'm glad nobody posted between the top thead and the anwsers as its easy to understand now.
Thanks again for the infomation, the fact people think they have to pay for feeback support was one of the big things.
Thanks Atari for clearing it up slightly. I'll buy the mode as i really wanted it anyway.

i would also like to take this moment to thank the mole and also say sorry to Atari...I got a bit caught up in the whole jump on the hardcore band wagon thing. :atari:
I'm not a mod - but i'm not complaining either (and yes, I did question the change in strategy in another post however....) - just thanking The Mole for at least trying to find more information on the Hardcore situation.
If it enhances the wheel (which I have bought) then I'm all for getting it.

If not a trick then why release information stating it will require something which may be changed?
The strategy changed recently, since release of the Xmas pack. The Xmas pack has not changed. The stratagy can be reverted back to how it was surely?
However you look at it people, including me, were tricked. I do not wish to have any of the cars in the xmas pack and did not buy it until I read from 2 different atari sources that it is required for hardcore mode. I was tricked, there is no other way of seeing it. Please explain how you can see this as anything other than a trick.

we was also told it was out January
Same here. I didn't want any of the cars in the Xmas DLC pack, but only bought the Xmas DLC pack, because I was told several times from Atari representatives, that if I wanted the Hardcore mode, then I would have to buy the Xmas DLC pack.
I look forward to the reading the answers that the Mole feeds back to us.
