I like most sensible people can see that TDU was a testbed. Hence it was sold for $40 US. Now that TDU has been a success TDU2 is only a question of when not if. I would like to see that in TDU2 car performance stats are more accurate. If this extra development cost would make the game cost slightly more I for one would be willing to pay for it. If possible it would be nice if some of the obvious perfofmance mistakes in TDU could be fixed at a later date, due to other more important issues that must come first. Incase you want to know a car that was downgraded in TDU the Ford GT can produce over 1000hp with minor stage 1 modifications. This kit was done by stage 6 motorsports. Just watch the doc http://www.dpccars.com/car-movies/09-18-06page-Twin-Turbo-Ford-GT.htm

That was cool. One of my favorite cars and they didn't ruin it with stupid body kits. Only made it go faster.

I actually wouldnt mind if there was no performance mods. Or id prefer it, actually.... if everyone always tunes their cars to stage 3, wouldnt it technically be the same as people all driving un-tuned cars? at leas then you have a honest comparison between real life cars. The only time tuning really makes sense to me, is where there is adjustments and options.. IE car set-up... so you can alter a car's performance to suit your needs, rather than just making it a percentage faster and better handling.

I Agree 100% With this post Stage 3 Cars Racing Against each other is no Different then Non tuned cars racing against eahc other (Apart From better Acc, Speed Etc) I Also say get rid of Custom Painted cars aswel
Atari really do "extract the urine" out of Europe rolleyesaSo does every company in the world, Sony, Microsoft, Samsung, LG, Philips, EA, Eidos, Technics, Denon, Ferrari, BMW, Ford, Nissan, Renault ...basically everyone due to our VAT and also to put this to rest, games here could be the price of their US equivalents but then you would be working for £3.20 per hour average in bringing in an average income of £11,000.
The prices are higher because we make more and also because of the strength of the £ against the $. An american brings $1000 here and changes it to £'s they get about £510, a briton takes £1000 over to the US and gets $1964. And don't forget a lot of states in the US have Sales Tax, not sure on the amounts of this though.

why get rid of custom painted cars..thats really the only thing u can customize ur car with rolleyesa and i agree about thetuning aspect, i think they should take tuning a more serious direction then with this performance packs, that way u can actually make ur car unique and have more challenge in racing :atari:

Sales tax is usually around 8% or 9%... depending on where, and what you buy... and buying items from a different state that the one you live often removes the sales tax... but then you almost always spent about as much as tax would have been shipping said item. Oregon and some other states do not have sales tax, but definitly get it out of you some other way :)

agreed - it's nice to have some ability to customise your car so that it's just that little bit different to all the others but the tuning packs would benefit from more detailed options. i'd rather them than nothing at all though, it still adds another aspect to the game and gives you more reason to earn money and therefore more to do with your money once you get it.
i'll take variety over normality, any day mdr1
