because it would take you hours and hours and hours to raise that much... (that would be 180mph in downtown 13,333 times... at 30 seconds a pop, or millionaires challenge 1,000 times at 45mins a pop) just to give it away? Unless of course you find a way to cheat it... then it doesnt become much of a prize, now does it? Not to mention.... you dont really need $1,000,000,000 in TDU, unless you want 5 of every car, which would of course make selecting cars in the mutiplayer menu a gigantic pain... and i dont think there is enough garage spaces in the available houses to fit 5 of every car.

hmmm, fastest race is 180mph in DT... 75,000 in 15 seconds plus 15 seconds restarting the race... 108 hours to get 1,000,000,000, 54 hours to 500,000,000... and that doesnt include the occasional accident involving traffic cars, which is sometimes unavoidable. so youre telling me, your going to spend the equivelant of 4.5 days without sleep doing the same race over and over, to award a prize to the winner of a 45 min race? Im not trying to be a jerk, im just helping you to realize it pretty unrealistic, and pointless. not to mention, the winner would have to purchase 100 cars and put them up on trade... and youd have to purchase 100 cars of trade... so youd probably have to sell half your real cars to make garage space for all these cars... the winner would spend more time buying and selling cars than he did in the actual race.

However if done properly (ie with a S7), 180mph in heavy traffic can get you $70k every 16secs max. I can get $210K per min using this race, thats $12,600,000 an hour. And if I could be bothered to waste my life (and my parents would let me) that would be $302,400,000 in 24hrs. So to get $1billion it would take me 3.306878307 days.

i want to see video of what your doing cause my time includes load screens and such but i can only get the race down to twelve secs. for some reason the speed meter on the right pauses on the way up while im accelerating

they added a function where you have to hold a speed for 3 seconds... so you cant hit lamp posts and rocket away at 657mph and to the top the leaderboard.... so 3 seconds after you hit 180 it will let you finish the race, asuming you dont hit a car and fall below 180 in that 3 second time span.
