From what I gather, there is not support for mouse steering!?!?!
I hope I am wrong, since GTR2, Live for speed, NFS etc all have mouse steering support and I can elegantly go around a corner just as fast as someone with a wheel, and just as sideways if I want to show off.
Please tell me I was being a n00b and not looking in the right place to turn on mouse control, so it becomes
steering= x axis
acce= LMB
brake= RMB
Gear up = A
Gear Down= Z
Obviously it would get in the way of incar freelook, but simply pressing Crtl and moving the mouse would fix that - again, not an option I saw and when I try to change the controls it wouldn't register the mouse axis.
Please say I am wrong, and if so, where was the option to turn on mouse steering for future reference - please dont say get a wheel or game pad - I haven't got the space or money for a good one, and I am just as good with a mouse on proper sims like GTR2 - which should make it 100x easier in TDU.
Basically, whilst I am not playing now, if there is no mouse support it will affect my decision to buy the game seeing as I am in the stage of life called the penniless student, I simply cant afford perhipals on top of a game - and keyboard alone was undrivable.
