Why wouldn't any self-respecting software developer NOT provide PC support for microsoft hardware???

it seems ridiculous!

I've tried to get my wheel working with XP, to no avail, just a hideous FPS drop.

so i install it on vista, but guess what?

black screen after the intro, until i pull the wheel out. Then it works, but then doesn't recognize the frickin thing.

We need a patch and pronto, otherwise it's gonna be a refund and a boycott of the game, developer and publisher.

It's funny how these console-kiddie ports never seem to work with PCs properly.....

conspiracy i say....

As I have said to most of the people that ask this question.

It is NOT that the wheel isnt compatible with the game as a whole its NOT compatible with the FFB library at this point(the current FFB is I-Force 2.0) which as far as I know(and I will confirm it later) NO MS FFB product supports it.

Your only current option is to DISABLE the FFB in the game or in the Control Panel in XP/Vista(if that is possible I have never owned an MS FFB product but I am VERY aware of the issues within the other games I play like IL-2, so MS FFB, and FFB2, sticks which dont have issues because IL2 IS using the older FFB library, but some of the Racing Sims, tho not sure about the ones I play are affected(GTL, GTR2, rFactor)but there will be issues with an MS wheel same as this game(because of the I-Force 2.0)

Some of these games have workarounds so PLZ MS users TRY THEM I have posted links before but this is all I can offer you is go over to RSC (http://forum.rscnet.org/forum.php) And look thru the Tech Advice Threads in the games over and I can almost guarantee you will find the workarounds for any games that ARE affected(so again any "Newer" game)

So PLZ folks TRY THEM ALL, ANY that you can find.
AND POST BACK so MAYBE you MS users can use your Wheels/Sticks WITH some sort of FFB because unless Eden adds older stuff to the FFB library your choice is NO FFB AT ALL!

I would do the testing myself but I no access to and MS FFB stuff(some of the better stuff is like Gold Dust as there is nothing "new" available)
I have given you MS folks "something" to try the rest is up to you but I can help with any other "wheel related issues" like sens and setups etc. but this one is in the MS users hands to find "The Fix"

I don't now if this is the good adress for my question, but i had a problem with my wheel a few days ago, because i was in the game and suddenly 5 buttons didn't work enymore, but if i got to the calibration screen of my wheel it turns out the buttons work just fine.

Does enyone have the same problem (with the same wheel or other wheel)
