Can't race

I connect to servers when I log on. I can do challenges 1v1 when I meet other players, but when I join races I get this :

i had the same thing yesterday...joined race...picked my car...set my status...and then same thing as u...3 times in a row...its rlly bad.. eekblue: weirdblue

As for anything connection related, please check that the ports needed are open.
