Hiya all,

I am just starting a fan site for TDU and hoping to get as much info regarding cars, houses, bikes etc on it to assist people in the game. I for one get frustrated knowing where to but a "group c" car for instance and which one is the better of them etc.

Anyone with relevant info could you please PM me with details as this is a long and time consuming process.

Feedback on the site would be good to and if you think there should be other info added, let me know.

Great site. Wish I had found it before, as I have just spent this morning driving round looking for 'class E' cars, and now a tip. :cool:

You currently have separate pages to sort the lists of the cars differently (By Manufacturer, by Group etc), but it is really simple to use a bit of freely available javascript that can re-sort the one table on just one page. The table would also be able to be sorted by Price, HP, max speed or any other spec's you ad in, the 'handling' score for example, and this would only need to be added to the one table. The other bonus is that no only will any changes only need doing once, but also if one of the entry's is inaccurate then you don't need to manually reorder the table when you change it.

Hiya all,

I have done some pics of the cars but before I get tooo far into it, I would like some feedback on the layout that best suits. One is quick and simple and one is painstakingly long.

The Alfa Romeo page is the quick option, but to me doesn't seem as appealing, however, the Aston Martin page is the hard way, but not sure if there is too much crammed into the page.

Can you please let me know either way and I will continue.

Just fixed up the table listing (thanks Mediaman_12) so it now sorts, and I will now capture some more screenies of the cars.

Hiya All,

Me again,

I have now got 49 cars showing on the site and just spent some time capturing another 29 screenies. These I will add to the site tomorrow as it is getting a tad late.

It will now take me a while to get the rest of the cars as I have to complete the game some more. If anyone out there has a completed saved game they could send me would be great as I am going to be about 20 cars short on the list. I can add a list here with the cars I am looking for if that helps.

aren't some of those cars "downloadable"? so they do not exist in the initial installation of the game?

because ive been HANGING to see many screenshots of the Countach, and have had no luck.

How did you get the Mclaren F1 LM ? It isn't in the game

I haven't got the Mclaren F1 LM, what I was asking for is images of the above list. All other cars in the game are now working including the bikes.

All the cars (available so far) and all the bikes are now completed. mdr1

Now I have completed 2 sets of houses so far, one at LAIE (north part of island) and one at Waianae (western part of island). I am now working on getting the other six sets completed.

Some feedback on what you think so far would be much appreciated.

I am endeavouring to get a message board set up and also a section where you can upload your own images and they will automatically add to the site.

The clothes page link in the menu is broken (= it links to a file on your local disk = file:///D:/My%20Documents/My%20Web%20Sites/clothes_main.html). This also goes for the downloads and links pages.

Sure. You can get a tomtom in every radio/computer store :p

Honestly ... an F430 and a tomtom???? I drive a Hyundai Tucson and I wouldn't put that **** in my car. I use a $5000 Kenwood nav/dvd/tmc system.

Hiya All,

Sorry for the lack of updates to the game, but I have started work again. I am also in the process of changing hosts (mine doesn't allow php scripts) and re working the site. I am almost complete with this and I will be adding the following sections to the site once moved:

1. Upgrades for vehicles and what each stage does to your cars/bikes performance, cost etc
2. A complete list of every race, time trial etc in the game with a detailed map of each type, single player at this stage as I don't have the speed to play online yet.
3. Forum
4. Photo categorised gallery where you can upload your screenshots for the world to see
5. Updating the downloads section and fine tuning it so you will be able to grab alot of what I have on the site and other peoples stuff aswell

If you think of anything else you would like or have a comment, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Hiya All,

I have just completed the basics of the site elsewhere. My sig has been updated with the new site and I will continue to add and refine things as I go.

It also has a photo album for you to upload photos to for everyone to see and comment and rate etc.

To use the album you will need to register or to post on the forums. When you do, you will get an error "something about email smtp problem" dont worry, your registration still works, it is just another bug I am trying to resolve.

You can simply upload the photo's you want to, to the relevant categories. They are stored on the server, not my pc.

Must say this site is an essential to looking up info on TDU and the best reference site yet(I have used many times myself when deciding which cars I want to buy when I need a specific class)

Good site, yet I find the menu bar too long to fit my browser window, I don't EVER want to scroll a webpage sideways :)

Could this be separated into two lines or something, perhaps?
