Title is pretty clear but BOTTOM Line PC PLAYERS DO NOT NEED THAT ON THE MAIN PAGE@!%^*&! :mad:
ESPECIALLY not RIGHT under Continue......
So long story short its in a BAD position to start with, but I dont know WHY it has to be ON the Main page to begin with.WE are PC players NOT Console we will not be starting a NEW GAME everyday and well like everything else wrong with the GUI....
I was very close to Champion and had Level 1000+ Miles, 2 houses etc etc. career(in fact I think I did make it BUT...)
I CONTINUED my game only to have it start to launch into EVERY News/Progress Pop Up from the VERY begginning, It then locked up about half way thru me deleting them all in News.
So I restarted and tried again, Same result so this time I was in the process of quitting(I was using my G25's D-pad to navigate, so thats a "bit" console BUT of course in my haste to restart AGAIN somehow( I was distracted briefly and of course was flustered with being SO close to Champion ONLY to have the game throw me som NEW weird occurance(the Progress Pop-ups) the cursor had moved and basically I Confirmed without seeing WHAT I had clicked(well lets see after you have seen the SAME silly screen that basically ALL look the same do you think I read it?? NO.
So I am back at the Airport
There Is NO reason a PC game with a Persistent Profile should ALLOW the option to basically kill it in a heart beat(the Profile) as the SECOND OPTION ON THE MAIN SCREEN!!!!
I have made a few comments on this games VERY "consolized" GUI but I think I found the STUPIDEST one yet because you know as a player I HAD treaded VERY lightly in the Main Menu BECAUSE they were so close but all it takes is on slip(like me) and BANG its all gone.
PLEASE MOVE NEW CAREER to a SUB MENU!!(oh I dont know like maybe under PROFILES....)
Yes I am still angry about this, it happened last night(Saturday) so it was "primetime" and I had built my Career up to a comfortable level where I had decided it was time to begin engaging ONLINE events...oh well maybe in ANOTHER week of playing JUST TD:U I "MAY" be able to try again and "Maybe" Atari/Eden will have read this and seen how foolish and "Un-PC" friendly this games WHOLE GUI is(basically you guys REALLY REALLY need to take "The Console" out of this game.
IF I wanted simple interface, 7-10 button configs and liked playing with a Joypad I WOULD BUY AN X-BOX not the almost $5000 US PC you can see in my Signature.................
TAKE THE CONSOLE OUT OF THE PC VERSION NOW!!!
