hey i was wondering will we ever get the veyron. id think itll be in the last dwc if it comes cuz atari ****s us all around. but even if it did every1 would use it and it woud make the game boring and thinking about it i dont want to see it. maybe they could only give 400 away or somting

Most of the people still don't get this : there will be no veyron, no bmw, no mitsubishi or anything of that! All the manufacturers that will be in game are almost all already available or have already been chosen (Don't exactly know what's coming in the next DLCs) tonguegre

Forza 2 will have everything I want though so I don't care mdr1

It's strange, given Bugatti is owned by VAG, and VW and Audi are already in the game.

It's also a shame, if anything it might mean you'd see people driving something other than stupid Saleen S7s in this game...

Yeah I agree, to many people drive the saleen...I like to drive in all my cars, especially in the cars that have a nice engine sound unlike the S7 ^^

Mitsubishi doesn't have any problem being in games, its just that the developers chose for them no to be in the game. BMW, not exactly sure whats going on with them, EA might of renewed thier contract or somehing.

PS-I also got a list of 30 something cars that we can expect seeing in future DLC;)

Its not too strange, yes VW owns Bugatti but Bugatti is still thier own independent company that makes decisions for lisencing on thier own. They simply think their cars are too good for games and will damage its apperance as the great car it is.

Didn't say mitsubishi had any problem, but their not in the list of cars we'll have as far as I know...sadly ;)

From what I've understood, BMW is "owned" by EA who are not, imo, capable of using the lisence like it should be used...

As for the companies who think placing their cars in a game will damage their image...what a load of cr*p really :laugh: , I couldn't think of a better way to advertise than a racing/car game like TDU!

Still, we got the (bugged) Edonis which is based on the old 110 Supersport, so there are still Bugatti parts in the game.

the EB110 is one of my fav cars! dont disgust it by the Edonis. the EB110 is a million times better looking lol

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding;).

They had rights to the BMW lisence but it expired earlier this year, which is why I'm assuming they bought it up again or TDU and FM2 ain't taking advantage of this opporunity. I feel the same way, its not disgracing the car at all but it seems that Bugatti is a little too proud.

Yea but I'd prefer the real EB110 :D.

Better it than nothing, though. You certainly turn a few heads when you turn up at the end of that drag strip in Honolulu in one and everyone else is in a Saleen - one guy remarked it looks like "The Batmanmobile!" rolleyesa

yes alright lol you do have a point... even though the S7'S can smoke it still... alot of people are like whats that... its cool still would be better with the Quad turbo eb110 :) but bugatti dont allow to be used in games. the only way you will see a veyron is in the PC when people create cars

they dnt even allow car shows 2 take the veyron round their track eg Top Gear. they dont like being public if you know what i mean

yeah they have a good reason why.. though they dont want it to be all public etc i guess, and dont want people racing round in games with it.. but still GTA games have the Veyron for download rolleyesa but the PC version will have ALOT more cars than the 360 so i might have to get the PC aswell tonguegre

If using the best car in the game makes you stupid, I don't know the meaning of the word anymore.

Until you take driving aids off ... then it becomes one of the slowest. You cant start it in anything other than 5th, and since is a turbo, there is huge lag and boom the wheels lose traction again.

Pure power is not a good thing :)

If everyone just wants the S7, why bother having anything else in the game? Make a Saleen S7 game for them, and those of us who want to try pitting a variety of cars against each other can play this.

Get it? It's boring going for a cruise around and everything you come across is an S7.

I totally agree with that. There should be one or more vehicles that are in the same speed/acceleration-class as the S7.

Vibro wasn't 100% sure, but he did say the PC version could be moddable.

Anyways, I don't doubt it. I've already begun a few renders of the new and old M6 on another friend's computer to go with our CCX.

Well, in retro-spect, Top Gear and Fifth Gear are really the only shows who really push cars. Top Gear did get to use the Veyron though for those times where Clarkson will race his co-hosts in a car while they take other means of transportation.

The cars in GTR2 are obviously covered by the FIA licence. If you look at the printed credits none of the individual manufacturers get a mention.

Here's a good bit of info I found in my Enthusia Professional Racing strategy book...
When Bugatti went bankrupt in 1995, Dauer took on the license for the EB110 in 1997.

So that explains a few things :)

Unfortunately.. I doubt we'll ever see the Bugatti. People who say Bugatti don't give licenses to game companies for their cars are full of ... 'baloney' :) I remember seeing a Bugatti in an NFS game. It was a while ago.. but there was a Bugatti there (can't remember the game, but it was of course a Bugatti EB110) My doubts rest though fairly certain we wont see it. Mainly because, if it was going to be in TDU, why wasn't it originally put it? Kinda.. hard to miss? I'm sure Eden/Atari or whoever would of tried for the license somehow..

It is simply an undisputed supermachine. A milestone in engineering.. Sheer brilliance. I want one! 400+ km/h .. in comfort?? For the people who rag it.. I have no idea how you can. Stop being stupendously stubborn.
