Cannot play multiplayer at times, connecting....freeze!

I noticed that many times I am unable to connect to any server host. :mad:

It says "connecting.." but nothing happens. The only way to get out of it is either to quit the game and restart or, the faster solution, change profile, then change back to main profile.

It sometimes works though and I can race on multiplayer server.

I wonder if i am the only one with this problem and if this is related to too many players online and the system cant handle them anymore!?

you use a beta account? if so just make a new gamespy account

No, i never had a beta account, this is a regular account.

I have the same problem (whats new, lol). Your right the game seems to be "connecting" for ever. The only way to get out is with task manager. I also cant play online games.

However I just had a very intresting race with some guy driving a Koesignggggg(?) and I hosted it! Was very intresting as it worked perfectly. Maybe you should try hosting some games :)

thanks but that wont work since i have to connect before creating a game. since it freezes upon trying to connect...no just option. :atari: :atari madred:

Same here. Very annoying indeed. I guess it is because when trying to connect a host that the server think is there but the host has already quit.
