yeh it is a bit weird. The game ran fine afterwards though.

I've had this as well, but only once. (I drove into the water while being chased by the police, when I was reset onto the track, the screen was red like that)

I would suggest a problem with your graphics card, from reading your old posts you are running a 9600pro (am i right?) which is not supported...its lucky it runs at all....

Yeh I think it might be that, especially as its overclocked to breaking point ;)
