First of all i would like to say Hi as im new around here.
My current rig is an AMD 64 2800 with an ATI x1600 this would run the open beta version, but now wont run retail as it is too damn sluggish. So i am going to buy a new rig anyway.Question an Intel E6400 1 gig ram,ati x1650 pci express okay for TDU and FSX?I am normally sure of what i buy to build but have always had an AMD and switching to Intel. So is this okay for recent games?

While the X1650 is a "powerful" card it is still considered Mid-Range(as opposed to your current card which is Entry-Level) If your after decent performance on a budget the X1950 PRO may be a better choice especially if your planning to tackle FSX.

This is coming from an ATI guy/ "Simmer"(see sig link for details ;) )

Well lad Im 31 and have a real good job(CNC Operator) and I dont drive in RL(ironic I know) I am a Canadian who has moved to Norway and while I CAN drive(obviously) its one of THEE most expensive things here to do/have. So my wife drives our Beemer(yes that does make me jealous) and this is "My Ride"(frankly I think its worth MORE than our car but, meh)

I didnt always have a "super rig" it just all takes time and money(as I said we have one car so my extra money goes into my Rig)
