View Full Version : Cannot connect to Test Drive Server.

Hello,

I downloaded the game today, however I can't connect to the Live Test Drive servers... My connection is fine and everything else works.

Any ideas?

All firewall stuff etc is open.

did you take part in the open beta? i've just tryed a old gamespy acount and that works but the one i used in the open beta don't :mefiant:

Yes I played in the Closed and Open Beta, using the same account information, however I deleted my old save games, etc.

I also tried a new GameSpy account which provided me a different error message (incorrect password) which is untrue... So both my old and new accounts won't connect at all.

Why do I get the feeling that very little was fixed from the beta tests (which I took part in both) to the final version - I guess I will find out on friday. Seems a shame, and a review on CVG kind of summed up what I expected in many ways. That the game was just a little polish away from being really really good.

I still love it, connection problems, lag and all, but it is a shame. Still, when you try to push new boundaries you have to expect issues. Just a shame that some of the things we (beta people) had found, are still getting people in the release version.

i had same problem on my account i had made it said test drive servers unavailable but then i tried an old one from fsx and it worked fine and lets me online so theres something strange.

I tried that and it didnt work

So far ive tried

opening ports
putting the pc in a DMZ on my network
re-installing
creating new gayspy accounts

And still it dont work

Id like to know where i stand getting my money back if it isnt fixed as i have broken the seal on the game so they will use the poor excuse it has been opened :mad:

created another gayspy account and now it works, Why cant i use my old login details from the beta :mad:

I've got the same problem, but I never played the beta, so I had to make a new account... :confused:

Exactly the same here bud, I'm ex-beta. Created three new gamespyid's now, none of them log in, either saying that the ID doesnt exist, or the password is wrong, when it simply isnt.

The password being worng, means there already is an account for the in-game name your trying to use and your password doesn't fit it. Try coming up with another game-nick.
