First of all my system specs: AMD Athlon 2 ghz
1 gb RAM
X800 XT PE
WD 80GB HDD
Windows XP Professional SP 2
Now i know that this is a low-end system by todays standards but still i feel that it should play this game at an average 14-18 fps.I am extremly disappointed with this game.it is UNPLAYABLE! I have tried everything,I've lowerd the resolution to 640x480 set details to low,used the first tweaked INI files,i've defragmented my hdd,i've disabled all the process and services that were not needed and i even renamed the folder traffic in the game directory so that the traffic is disabled in game.NOTHING WORKS with this game it still runs like ****.I play single player and i get 5-8 fps mostly and sometimes depending on were i am on the map it drops down to 1-3 fps.Now i know the technology must move forward and that games require more and more hardware to run the complex models,effects and enviroments but games must also be PLAYABLE on most machines not just the ultra high and expensive rigs with dual core processor,2 gb ram and 2 1950 XTX or 8800GTX all watercooled.Although everyone would like to have such a rig not everybody can afford it,or upgrade everytime a new game comes out.I am sure that a lot of pc gamers don't have that kind of hardware and are stuck with a game that is unplayable on their machine because you can't do/disable anything in the game that will make it run a little faster sour: This is the first game i played were by setting all things to low does not make ANY DIFFERENCE.I think that if i could disable everything in the game so that when i start it,it will render a single tree and nothing else it will still run poorly,maybe then the fps will jump to 11 who knows haven't tried that yet because obviously the game won't start if i disable everything :nuts: I really like this game and i love to see detailed models and beatifull graphics in a game,and this game has really nice graphics and detailed cars but still i don't see anything in the game that should make it run this bad.I know it was made for the xbox360 and ported to pc that is pretty obvious but what game developers must realize is that not all pc-s can match the 360-s power.So if you bother to relese the game on pc,then take the time to optimize and refine the game a little and include more options in the graphic departement so that people can tweak them to better suit their machines,in other words give us things to DISABLE!:laugh: and make sure that when you disable something it also HAS AN EFFECT in the performance of the game,that would be really nice.And i would also like to say to all of the people who think that those of us who complain too much about performence when our rigs are ****,that we don't complain that we can't play the game full details,max resolution and with 50-60 fps on our old machines but we complain that it is not playable at all and that we can't disable stuff that will make it playable or run smoothly.If all of us had a 360 or a spaceship rig like some of this guys posting here complaining that their fps drops to 20-25 from 40-50,then i would not bother writing this and i would be in the game enjoying it.I really hope that this performence issues will be resolved in a patch soon because it's obvious that the game is not optimized and not tuned enough for the pc and this game should be playable on minimum requirements systems not just on those high-end rockets.I a apologize for my long post but i had a lot of things to say,hopefully somebody will have the patience to read it 10sur10
