hey guys,

me and a friend both have the same problem.

we are both in the uk and we both keep getting the message pop up while we are racing/driving around..."the tdu servers are currently unavailable..." BUT int he top left corner it says in green "tdu servers available" ?

we arent getting any leaderboard info up after each race like you did in the beta/xbx360 and we dont see any online players.

anyone else getting this in the uk?

my router shudnt be a problem because its setup to allow ongoing traffic and routers only need to have ports open if you are hosting a game. I also played the beta without any problems online, as did my friend.

any ideas whats goin on?

cheers

TED.

ignore this, ive opened all the ports listed in the readme.htm file on the dvd, on my BT voyager2091 router and it now works no probs.

If you have problems with the servers, you'll need to check 2 things:

1. Your profile is an online one - go to profile and ensure the box is ticked
2. Manually open all ports listed in the read me file

When you play on a system that is behind a firewall or proxy, certain ports may need to be opened to connect to multiplayer games.

You must be able to access these external ports:

UDP 8880->8889

UDP 8890

UDP 27000->30000

TCP 6667

TCP 27000->30000

You have to open the following local port: TCP8889

Ports 17475 and 9961 (TCP/UDP) must be opened.

do we open them all or what ? what ones? pls tell meh thx

go here and find your router
http://portforward.com/help/portforwarding.htm it will walk you through how to port forward for your particular router

If you have a router (like I do) that is stopping incoming connections only, its just the last 3 ports mentioned above you need to open.

8889 (TCP),
17475 and 9961 (TCP/UDP)
