Hi tdu fans

As much as the game is lacking in graphics, clothing, Ferrari's, Maserati's, motorbikes and other essentials.

The point is most of us have been waiting 4 this game for ages, and we should try and work with what Atari have given us, even if it isnt the BEST the package.
Like most people i hate Atari because they cant deliver a decent game without ruining it. Take for example Driver Parrallel Lines, they muffed that one up because of the cars werent realistic, handling of them was bollocks and there was no realism in the game.

Forums are for you and other people to talk about how you feel about TDU, thats all i wasnt to do at the start of this, all i was doing was comparing it to other games on the market.

There is nothing to compare it to. It's a MMO and it has free roam like no other game on the market. The graphics? They look good ... they aren't God of War, but they look great. And the concept earns kudos with me. It's about test driving exotics ... not modding ... not autoscripting ... not racing. Yeah, racing is in the game, but that's not the main purpose of this game. If anyone's not happy because of the lack of Ferraris, Maseratis, bikes and the like, AND having the entire island open at the start, go back to that POC Carbon. TDU lovers don't need your moaning, groaning on the road.

I understand ... but ... there is nothing like TDU out there. With the exception of the race track and Ford Island - in TDU 360 and PC - everything is unlocked from the start. You can't even say that about GTA. And GT is racing - not free roam. And Carbon is just a POC in left field anyhow.

Fact of the matter is - without the stuff you mentioned in your earlier post, this game is still the best driving game out there. Folks can moan about what the game is lacking ... how about - what the game offers over Carbon ... over Driver ... over GT and that's free roam. Test drive exotics. If you really, really want Ferraris and Maseratis and bikes, why not buy the Eden version and a 360 or upgrade your PC to play TDU?

No where was it touted that Ferraris, Maseratis and the like were in the game. Even the Mole put out a car list - yes, he works for Atari - and the fact that you are moaning about stuff really shows a lack of research, on your part.

I like this game, the graphics lack but still are better than NFS. The ferrari issue was discussed I was there when it was on this forum I did not seem to mind. We have an entire island to explore and takes a damn long time to. Thumbs up :atari: cannot wait for Test Drive Unlimited 2!
